Many men think that women want money , cars , and gifts . Yes it is true in some cases , like Jessica she chose guys who can shower her with all luxuries but the right woman like Emily wants a ma's time , effort , passion , honestly , loyalty , smile and him choosing to put her as his priority .

" What ever you lack , I got you . We will balance each other out . Minor setback ? We will make a better come back . Bad day ? I promise you a better night . I will keep you motivated and at the top . Always as long as you appreciate me and remain consistent . You don't ever have to doubt my loyalty . You got me , I got you . '

This was Emily's idea of a perfect relationship . She wanted years , not weeks . She wanted real not fake . She wanted arguments , not secrets . She wanted to be held down , not let down .

After college Emily and Rachel were walking back home . Talking about their day . Matt stopped his car beside them .

" Emily I was waiting for you . I thought that I was going to give you a ride home . Hop in . I will also drop Rach . "

Rachel knew that they both were in a new relationship and it was important for them to spend some time together and of course alone so she passed on his offer " You know I have to stop by the library on my way back . I have some work there , it will take time . So you and Emily keep going . "

Emily knew what Rachel was doing here . She gave her a smile as a sign that she appreciated her move . Emily sat in the car with him .

" Hey you " He said .

" Hi " , she replied giving him a hug . " So are we good ? " she asked him not so sure what was going to come from his part .

" Yes of course . "

" Oh that's good . I thought that you were upset when you left the music room .

" I am not now and even if I was you have all time now make me happy . " He said gliding his hands on her thigh , he leaned towards her and touched her lips gently .

" I want to tell you something . . . . . "

Could they both have a moment without interruptions ?

" Yes , I did something for us . "

" Us ? Like you and me ? "

" Yes " Emily was not able to hide her smile . She was thinking that she was going to give him the thing he loved the most .

" You know about the musical beats ? "

" Yes the competition that our college is organizing . What about that ? " He was talking to her but he was not interested at all . He was looking at Emily's lips remembering what they tasted like .

" I got us registered ! " She said with joy .

" What ? "

Ok so this was not the reaction Emily was expecting .

" Where did you got ' us ' registered ? " He highlighted the word ' us ' . This could not be right .

" I got us registered in musical beats . The first is the solo round and the second is the duet . It's right after prom so you know Rachel , she was worried that I won't be able to find a partner in such a short notice . But the I told her . . . . . "

Matt was furious . " You told her what ? " He said to her roughly .

Now Emily was scared , maybe she was realizing that she did something wrong " I told her what an amazing singer you are ! And . . . . . . . "

Tyler interrupts before Emily could complete her sentence " You are unbelievable . "

" What ? what did I do that was so wrong . I thought that may be it will be good for you . "

" Good for me . . . . . Good for me . " He yells at her " I clearly remember telling you that I don't want people to know that I am into music . It is something very personal and I trusted you with my secret . I thought that you will keep it to yourself but you are doing just the opposite . You are just going around in the campus and shouting out my secret . You broke my trust . "

Emily was in tears . She thought that she was helping him by giving a direction to his music . She didn't think that it will upset Matt . " I am so sorry . I never thought that it will hurt you . "

" Yes but it did . Now you will have to clean up the mess that you have created . you better take my name back . And for next time remember that just because we are together does not mean that you are allowed to take decision me or what you just said us . "

Emily was trying hard to hold back her tears . Matt drove her to her house and then he left without even saying a word . Yes Emily made a mistake she should not have given his name for the competition before discussing with him but he was definetely over reacting for sure . She went to her room and jumped on the bed .

She was very irritated and angry on herself . After a long time got what she wanted yet somehow she was managing to screw up things . And why did she brought Jessica into their conversation . Bringing up your partners ex is way out of rule . What was wrong with her ? Two days in a relationship and she already started judging herself .

Her phone rang , her circle was so small that she already knew who was calling .
