Almost Gone

As the darkness closes in on me I see a light. Its warm and enviting. I see a woman walking towards me and I don't have to see her face to know who it is. "Mom what're you doing here?" She grabs my hands and says, "Cassie you can't be here." I frown at her and then it hits me, "I'm dead aren't I?" She looks down then says, "No not yet baby girl. Your boys and Damon are going to need you. Not to mention your pack." I start to cry.

I can hear Damon calling me. "Cassie! Cassie please don't leave me. The boys and I need you." he sobs, "It's not your time yet." I start to cry at the pain in his voice but I'm so tired. "Mom how do I go back?" She looks at me and smiles. "Cassie only you can figure that out." I'm so confused because I don't know how. Then it hits me. Love is what brings me back. I listen to Damon more. "We haven't gotten married yet. You have to be here for that. Please Cassie. I love you come back to me!" I can feel it now. It's like an anchor pulling me back.

Damon's POV

"I love you come back to me!" The doctor said to talk to her. She can't leave me like this. I put my head down ready to give up when she squeezes my hand. I look up to see her opening her eyes. "Oh my gosh Cassie. Cassie can you hear me?" I reach up to stroke her hair. She blinks a few times then looks at me and smiles. "I could hear you. My mom told me to come back." I'm so confused but I don't care at this point because she's back to me. I lean in and kiss her. Probably deeper of a kiss than I should have done but she almost died.

I yell for the doctor that she's awake. The doctor comes in and checks her over and smiles. "She'll be fine. Her heart rate is coming up and so is her blood pressure." she puts a hand on my shoulder, "She needs rest." I nod and stop the pack from running in. "The doctor said she needs rest. Once she's better I'll let you see her. For now keep an eye out in case the other hunters come back." They agree and go to keep guard. I walk back to her. She has fallen back to sleep. I can finally sleep myself. She came back to me.

3 weeks later

I'm waiting at the end of the aisle. I know she's going to look beautiful. I can't believe we finally made it here. After she got hurt I didn't think I'd ever be happy again now I'm so happy I could explode. The music starts and I turn to see Cassie walking around the corner. She had a strapless white gown on with bare feet. She has a low cut in the back almost to her butt. Makes me want to kill every guy that looks at her. She looks perfect. I'm so mesmerized.

Cassie finally reaches me and I growl, "You wait till we're alone later. I'll be ripping that dress off with my teeth." She laughs and blushes. "I think I'd be ok with that." she says as she winks at me. We turn and say our vows and then say I do. We kiss and I mark her shoulder where her birthmark is. She is officially mine in the human way and wolf way. I couldn't honestly be happier. I have my kids and the love of my life. She always says I made her life better and complete. That is so not true. I was wondering around thinking I would never find love and I finally did. I am glad Gabe found her. I'm so thankful he left that night to track a lead. If only he was here to see her look so happy. The pack howls in excitement. We have people throwing seeds at us and cheering. We run to the house holding hands.

Once upstairs I slam the door shut and lock it. She's finally alone with me and I plan to rip that dress off but she stops me. "Damon I'm so happy right now." she leans in and kisses me. "Did you ever think you'd be here?" I shake my head and grab her face. "Cassie you and the boys are my sun. You shine on me and warm me up. You show the pack that love is real and out there if they wait." I sit down on the bed and pull her to sit in my lap. "We all revolve around you Cassie. You are our sun and moon. The sun warms us and the moon to guide us." She smiled as a tear fell down her cheek. "You're the alpha and I'm the half-breed luna." she turns and looks at our boys and says, "We make gorgeous babies. Maybe we could make some more." I smile and lean in to say, "That could be arranged for my luna." Cassie opens her mouth to speak but I stop her with a kiss so deep that I wonder if she can breathe.

After what seemed like an eternity, I pulled away breathless and craved more. I know she can feel my length growing where she's sitting in my lap but she never lets on that she knows. Instead she begins to rub her hands up my chest causing a growl to slip from my lips. I look her in the eyes and see that she realizes I'm close to my limit. Smiling, she tilts her head to give me another deep kiss before sliding off my lap. Cassie grins this devilish grin as she turns away from me and slowly removes her dress, sliding it down her legs. I watch in awe as she carefully steps out of her dress with her heels still on, exposing her lacey thing and match bra. Still facing away from me, she bends over and begins to remove her heels. I can't help but bite my bottom lip as her bottom widens as she bends. I can feel myself getting hard in my pants.

A low growl escapes my lips as she reaches back to unlatch her bra and tosses it to the floor. I see her slightly look over her shoulder at me with a smile on her face. She slowly runs her hands down her hips and slides her thong off as her hands move down her legs. I can't help the hiss that escapes my lips as her naked body is bending in front of me. Cassie tosses the underwear away and finally turns to look at me. "I think a shower is in order, don't you, Alpha?" she says, with that same devilish grin from before. Suddenly I realized I had been breathing so hard that my mouth was dry. I lick my lips as I begin to slide of the bed and stand. I raise an eyebrow as I begin to return the favor and slowly undress for her. I can see her eyes get darker and I wonder if we'll even make it to the bathroom.

Once I get down to just my pants, I unzip slowly releasing my hard length. I smile as I hear her gasp. Looking up I see her lick her lips and it just makes my length jump. I slide my pants off slowly and talk towards her like I would stalking my prey.
