Fourteen

Payne:

    I opened my eyes to find Zuluna asleep in my arms. My body feeling wired as if it had been asleep my entire life. She turned into me slightly pouting before resting her forehead against my chest. Her hands sliding up my stomach and staying there. Underneath the sheets, my area started to react stiffening to her touch. I swallowed and tried to pull away before she could wake up.

    "Good morning," she said her hazel eyes looking up at me. "What's wrong?"

    "Nothing," I said maybe a little too fast still trying to pull away. She looked me over.

    "Oh," was all she said when she saw my monster up and standing tall. I moved away falling out of the bed wrapped in the blankets pulling her with me she landed on top of me. My wolf going crazy only making my situation worse.

    "I'm sorry. That's never happened before," I breathed out.

    "Never?" She asked and I swear I think she's doing this to me on purpose. I shook my head.

    "I need to..." I don't even know how to finish that sentence. What do I do with it?

    "You need to?" I swallowed looking down at her and shrugged. She laughed. "This is what you do with it,"

    Zulu slid her hand down my stomach and gripped me. My wolf and I let out an exasperated growl as she began to move her hand up and down gently holding on to me. My breathing hitched my body locked in place not knowing what to do. I could feel her eyes on my face as my eyes rolled back and I let out a moan as she shifted tightening her grip and moving faster.

      Mate. Mark Mate. My wolf growled.

    My canines extended as he took control. He grabbed her body pinning her down and hovering over her. Through his eyes, I could see she was surprised. She also seems a little vulnerable. She has a smirk on her lips.

    "Mine," he growled at her. She pushed her hair away revealing her neck.

    "Show me," she smirked her eyes turning dark. My wolf was going for just the mark but he stopped looking at her lips giving me control.

     "Hi," I breathed out blinking from the quick reverse he pulled. She smiled.

    "Hey," she giggled the sound moving through me.

    She pushed herself up on her elbows pressing her chest to mine. She slid her hands through my hair and then rested them on my neck pulling me closer to her. Her lips pressed to my own while I looked at her. So warm, so soft. She started with gentle pecks. I followed her lead as she wrapped her legs around me bringing my body down so that I rested my weight on her.

    "Like this," she said slightly parting her lips.

    I did the same this time pressing my lips to hers. She began to move her lips against mine and I followed. I flinched back a little when she slid her tongue in my mouth.

    "You can use your tongue too," she smiled pulling me back down.

    She slid her tongue into my mouth again, this time I met her with my tongue. It feels more like we were trying to fight with our mouth and I love it. Once I got the hang of it my wolf took over completely taking her over as we ran our hands over her body.

    We pulled away to catch our breath but continued to press open-mouthed kisses down her jaw onto her neck to the spot where he wants to place his mark. To my surprise she's enjoying herself just as much as I am. Her strawberry and vanilla scent becoming stronger. Making me and my wolf want to touch her more.

    Zulu let out a moan making my body shudder against her. My wolf licked the spot and started to gently suck on it.

    "Stop teasing me already," she breathed out a growl.

    Apparently, that's all my wolf needed to hear because he bit down hard. She screamed out in pain.

    No, no, stop. I shouted. The sound of my voice echoing in my head making it ring as I tried to fight back for control.

    No, look she likes it. He growled back.

    Zulu's grip on me tightened as he pulled back drooling into her wound and biting back down. This time she moaned again holding on to the back of my neck. He began to lick her wound shut.

   "I didn't understand that," I said pulling away looking at her.

   "The mark?" I nodded. "When a wolf finds it's mate the mark is to show other wolves who they belong to,"

   "But I hurt you,"

   "Sometimes pleasure needs a little pain. I can show you if you let me mark you," 

    Say yes. 

   "Yes," she turned us over and sat on my thighs.

   "Let me take off your shirt," she said already tugging on it. I shook my head not wanting her to see all of my scars. "Please, Payne. I need to see you,"

    "I don't want to disgust you. I like you," she smiled.

   "You can't disgust me Payne you're my mate. I'll accept you no matter what," I looked away. "Hey look at me. Don't you trust me?"

    "With my life," I said truthfully.

    "Then let me see," I sighed and leaned up so she can take my shirt off.

    We both looked down at my exposed skin. So many scars. Still healing bruises. I know she's disgusted. I closed my eyes waiting for her to pull away and leave. 

    Her hand reached for me and she made me look at her. Her eyes dark filled with a mixture of sadness and anger. Zuluna pressed her lips to mine and then pulled away. This is it she's going to leave me. I didn't open my eyes I didn't want to. Her weight never shifted. Then I felt her lips press against my chest. I opened my eyes meeting hers as she kissed each of my scars. 

    Mate likes them. Darren questioned just as confused as I am.

    Once she was done she pushed me down licking the bare area above my n****e. She let out a low growl as her canines extended. Her eyes so dark they were almost black. Her wolf smirked at me as she leaned down biting into my chest.

    I let out a pain filled growl and I understood what she meant now. The pain subsided in a good warm feeling that coursed not only through me but through her. I could feel her inside of me. She pulled her teeth out and shut my new scar. The amber in her eyes is shining brightly as she pushed her hair back and looked back down at what she had done. My new scar.

    This one is special though. A mark I will bare for the rest of my life because she placed it there to show everyone I belong to her.
