Steven's POV
The trail of blood seemed so hopeful, until it came to an abrupt end. Interesting. Night fall was quickly approaching and we still haven't found Regina or Stefanie. I feel like s**t for letting Heather down, but there's always tomorrow.
"Hey, I think we should call it for a night. As soon as the sun rises, we will continue. I promise." I give her hand a reassuring squeeze. "Okay." She answers, sounding defeated. I had packed a tent and supplies, knowing this would take a few days to find a missing person. I ask Heather to gather woods for a fire wile I set up the tent. I warned her not to go too far though. I didn't need her to go missing as well.
To my relief, she returned with wood and even started the fire herself just as I finished setting up tent. This woman never fails to amaze me. She takes a seat on a log and I join her. "I can't imagine how you are feeling right now, but I want you to know that I won't give up. I have faith that we will find Regina and Stefanie."
"Yeah, but will they be alive when we find them?" Well, s**t. That's a dark question.
"I really want to believe so." Was my honest reply, not wanting to give false hope by saying yes.
"Thank yo- do you smell that?" Huh? I take a deep breath in, and stand immediately to my feet. Turning around, we see a fire in the distance. "s**t! We have to get out of here. These woods are going to light up quick!" I exclaim and see the panic etched on her beautiful face.
Grabbing her hand, I run the opposite direction of the fire. We run for what feels like forever until we reach the area where cars are parked. Not only cars of campers, but firetrucks, ambulances, and police are all here.
"Hey! Are you two hurt?" A medic comes rushing to us. "No, but my friend is out there somewhere and I think she's hurt! Please, someone needs to find her!" Heather cries out, tears running down her face. A cop walks over to her and asks for a description of what she looks like and the last place we saw her.
Considering the blood trail we saw, I have no doubt that she's hurt somewhere. This entire place is already in flames and I have a bad feeling that Regina isn't going to make it out alive. My heart aches for Heather.
Regina's POV
What is taking Jake so long? I hope he has food in this place because I'm starving. As if on cue, Jake opens the bedroom door and walks in. "Did you find Heather?" I ask anxiously. "Yes, she's staying with Steven tonight. She told me to tell you that she's glad you're okay and will see you tomorrow."
I let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank you. It means a lot to me that you searched for her." He smiles at me and turns to leave again. "WAIT! Where are you going?" Damn girl, get a hold of yourself.
"I thought you might be hungry, so I was going to make some food."
"Oh, yes! Please." He nods his head and closes the door.
Maybe an hour passes before he returns with a plate in his hand. "Mmm, that smells delicious!" He sits on the bed beside me and places a small bit of meat on the fork. Lifting it to my mouth, I open and let him feed me.
"Wow! This is really good. What is it?" It really is good. I've never tasted anything quite like this before. He is a sexy man and can cook? Ugh. I want him so badly.
He smirks at me. "It's a secret." Hmm, man of mystery. I like it. In all honesty, I think it's better that I don't know what type of animal it is.
He keeps feeding me until I'm full. The meat and vegetables were yummy, but now I want something else. "Jake." I call his name once he returns after putting the plate back in the kitchen, I assume.
"Yes?"
"Can you sleep with me tonight?" He looks hesitant at first, but then walks to the bed.
"How are you feeling? Do you need my care?" He asks, sounding genuinely concerned.
"I'm not in as much pain as earlier, but yes. I could use your care." I wink at him.
"Okay, let me go get the first aid kit." He goes to get off the bed, but I pull his arm. "That's not what I meant." I tell him with a soft smile.
"Can I ask you a personal question?" He looks uneasy, but nods his head.
"Are you a virgin?"
Silence. s**t, I think I just made him feel uncomfortable. Way to go Regina.
"Yes." He answers quietly.
"May I ask why? Are you waiting for marriage? I just don't see how I sexy, charming, sweet guy like you wouldn't have girls trying to f**k you constantly." He chuckles at that and it's the sexiest sound ever.
"No. I'm not waiting for marriage. To be honest, you're the first girl to ever think of me like that. Others just view me as a monster."
What the hell? How could anyone think such a thing about this man.
I use every ounce I can muster to roll on top of him, catching him by surprise. "Any girl who thinks otherwise is a fool." I lean down and kiss him. He grabs my face and deepens the kiss.
Sitting up painfully, I ask him to take my shirt off for me. He doesn't waste a second in doing so, along with his own shirt. Laying me down gently on my back, he takes my shorts and panties off. My eyes are glued on him as he removes the last bit of clothes he has on.
"I don't want to hurt you." He whispers to me as he hovers over my body.
"You won't. I trust you." I answer back as I brush his cheek with my hand. I feel his erection at my p***y and I nod my head, looking into his beautiful eyes. He captures my lips as he slowly inserts himself, letting out a grunt.
Fuck! He feel so good. He begins to move at a slow pace, not wanting to hurt me. "Faster!" I moan out. "Are you sure?" He asks again, concerned filling his voice.
"Yes! Please! I beg out.
He picks up the pace and it doesn't take long before both of us to c*m together, moaning out each other's name.
He lays back next to me and looks... well, I don't know actually.
"Are you okay?" I ask him. He looks back at me. "Did I do it correctly? Did it feel good for you?" Oh, he is so adorable.
"I never felt better. In fact, I would like to do that again." I smirk at him, causing him to smile back at me.
