Chapter 8 : Reason to fight

  The fight between George and Oliver which took place on the dock area is going quite fiercely, with the support and cheers from the dozens of George subordinates there, which made the atmosphere very lively and festive. They were seen very enjoying in watching the battle between their leader and Oliver. The inevitable battle was getting savage and hotter, George and Oliver kept trying to kill each other, by punching and scratching each other, so that both sides seemed to have the same wounds, but because George's strength was greater than Oliver, George becomes superior in attacking, and even he can overwhelm Oliver, so that Oliver continues to receive attacks on his body repeatedly, while the attacks from Oliver can always be broken by the crown-headed Gargoyle.

 George hit Oliver in the stomach, kicked Oliver in the face, and even several times he also lifted and slammed Oliver's body to the ground. But Oliver did not show any signs that he wanted to give up, because even though he was repeatedly attacked and beaten up, he had to fight to defeat George so he can protect his neighbors in the apartment building, because Oliver was the gargoyle who had always do what he think right to do.

 While continuing to attack Oliver, George said, "I'll finish, and I'll chop up your body until it's Vanished!"

 "Yes, finish him. Kill him !!” The audience shouted.

 Then when Oliver fell and lay on the ground, Oliver was trampled hard by George on the stomach, so that Oliver felt excruciating pain.

 "AAAAAAAAAKH !!!"

 Then, when George will launch the next attack, namely stabbing Oliver's head to shreds. Suddenly, a car was advancing at high speed and came towards the crowd of people. The car immediately hit the crowd of people who were gathered there so that the atmosphere became chaotic and everyone ran in all directions. Blindly, the car continued to drive while winding to hit everyone who was running, so they were all messed up and busy saving themselves, even among them some were injured and some died as a result of the impact by that car. George, who was also the target of the rampaging car, immediately canceled his intention to destroy Oliver's head, he quickly jumped far behind his body so he cannot being hit by the car.

 Then after being satisfied crashing people gathered there, the car finally stopped near Oliver who was still lying on the ground, after that someone started to get out of the car, and that person was none other than Kevin, who immediately helped Oliver to stand up, that causing a sense of shock at the same time for the gargoyles who were there. Then Oliver stood beside Kevin, who seen walking holding a metal pipe on his hand. Kevin looks very ready to fight the Gargoyles in that place.

 George who saw Kevin's figure, immediately shouted. "Who are you?!!"

 "You don't need to know who I am!" Kevin replied with a shouting tone too.

 “Grrrrr !! Finish them off !! " Tell George to all his men who are there.

 So immediately, everyone around Kevin changed form into a gargoyle monster, so now Kevin and Oliver are in a situation surrounded by ferocious gargoyle monsters. And the only way out for them is by fighting.

 But before the fight started, Oliver asked Kevin, "Ke-Kevin, why did you come here?"

 "Sorry, because I tried to spy on you and follow you here, but I didn't expect that the situation would turn out like this ... If you die here, then the people who live in that apartment will be slaughtered, right?" It seems like Kevin already understands the problem Oliver is facing.

 "Yes, that's right. I can't let that happen. "

 “Fine then, I'll try to help you. Besides, you've already saved me. " Kevin said as he gripped the iron pipe tightly in his hand, like a baseball player.

 "Thank you." Said Oliver, who was pleased with Kevin's help.

 Then the attack began, Kevin and Oliver were attacked simultaneously from various directions, but they were both undaunted so they were both able to handle attacks from their opponents quite well. Kevin hits every Gargoyle that tries to get close to him, he directs the swing of his iron pipe at the point of the body that can make the enemy immediately collapse, namely the legs, groin, neck and hips behind. Before launching an attack, Kevin always tries to bend his body or roll to the side, so when he is in the right position, he can swing his punches very strongly on the target.

 As for Oliver, he went on a wild rampage and slaughtered the enemies who tried to attack him, with his muay thai fighting style, Oliver can fend off every attack from his opponent, and counterattack the opponent so that they ressistance are useless, because the current gargoyles that being faced by Oliver and Kevin are gargoyles with normal size types, so they can both fight without getting into significant difficulties, but still, the large number of those gargoyles, is a thing that can be a dangerous threat to Kevin and Oliver, especially when Oliver's body and stamina are not in good shape.

 While the fight was more fiercer, then suddenly George came to join the fight, he slyly attacked Oliver from behind, so that Oliver, who was off his guard, had to receive a stab wound on his back.

 "AAAAAAAAKKHH !!!" 

 "Oliver!" Shouted Kevin who witnessed it.

 Then, Oliver, who was still standing, kept trying to fight back against his enemies. However, due to the severe injury to his back, he became unfocused and instead received several attacks from other gargoyles, causing Oliver to fall to his knees and limp.

 Kevin saw that Oliver was having a hard time, especially when he was being approached by George for the second time, so Kevin immediately ran towards George, because he didn't want Oliver to die in George's hands. Then with all his strength Kevin swung the iron pipe in his hand at George's head, but unfortunately with only one hand, George was able to catch the iron pipe and then break it, so now Kevin has no weapon at all.

 After that, George immediately hit Kevin's face until he was thrown and fell to the ground and then fell helplessly. When that happened, all the Gargoyles who were there immediately surrounded Kevin and trampled Kevin's body so he couldn't get back up. And that's when the gargoyles started partying, they all started trying to gnaw and eat Kevin's body, which is easy prey for them in that place.

 Kevin, who did not have the strength to fight and struggle, finally could only accept his fate as a prey. However, when his hand and leg being bitten, Kevin saw Oliver whose head was about to be crushed by George, and it made Kevin feel very angry, a very strong determination began to appear in Kevin’s mind, he did not want to die in that place and he also didn't want to let Oliver die.

 Therefore, with a peak of anger and determination that was so strong from within, Kevin suddenly rise to his feet with all his might. While He stood screaming.

 "HIIYAAAAAAAA !!!!"

 Then at that instant, all the gargoyles that were surrounding him were immediately thrown away and scattered in various directions, they were like being pushed and knocked away by an immense force, making them all very shocked. In fact, George, who saw his subordinates being thrown and knocked down, was immediately stunned and flabbergasted, so he stopped his intention to stepping on Oliver's head.

 Now, Kevin was standing in the middle of the crowd of Gargoyles that were scattered down, Kevin stood with his body covered in wounds, but his face looked very serious looking at George. While George saw this, he immediately realized that there was a change in Kevin, he could feel a strong monster aura from inside Kevin's body, and of course it was very dangerous.

 Then suddenly there was one of the gargoyle monsters approaching and going to attack Kevin, so George quickly shouted to warn him.

 "Hey !! Don’t do it!!"

 But George's warning was too late, because Kevin quickly gave a punch until his hand entered the monster's chest, then Kevin pulled his hand again along with the monster's heart, which was still beating in his hand, while the monster saw that his heart was already pulled out by Kevin, that monster immediately collapsed and died. This made the other gargoyle monsters around Kevin feel both dumbfounded and disbelieving, because an ordinary human could suddenly become that strong, even his punches could pierce the monster's skin that so hard.

 Yes, now the power of the monsters in Kevin's body has awakened, so that he has the same strength as the gargoyle monsters, and this can happen because of the strong feeling within Kevin of wanting to protect others. Currently Oliver's life as well as the lives of the residents on the apartment are at stake, so therefore Kevin cannot be defeated by George and his men at this place.

 Then while destroying the heart that was in his hand, Kevin walked over to George. And George who feeling a little nervous also started ordering all of his men to attack Kevin again, he want them to swarm Kevin!

 So Kevin starts to be attacked from various directions again, but with his fighting skills and strength, Kevin can provide a very deadly resistance to the gargoyle monsters. He broke the opponent's hand, crushed the opponent's head, even hit the opponent's stomach till through. So that the number of Gargoyles who were there decreased because Kevin was completely slaughtering them.

 Then, with a feeling of anger, George didn't want to be belittled by Kevin, so he started running to attack Kevin. George tried to punch Kevin with all his might, but Kevin also threw a hard punch at George, so that their punches met each other and collided violently, and it produced a wind wave that was strong enough around them, which even made the body of the other gargoyles flew and crash.

 Then, with his fists still clinging to each other while putting pressure on his opponent, George asked Kevin a question.

 "Ho- how could you match my strength ??" Geroge asked with a surprised expression.

 "I don't know, I'm also curious about it." Kevin replied.

 "What?? .... HUUUUAAAAAKHH !!! " Then suddenly Kevin launched another blow, which directly hit George's stomach, so that George's body immediately flung away and hit the rows of containers to shreds.

 After that, Kevin, who was still standing with a panting breath, was seen as a very scary figure to everyone who was there, so the atmosphere became silent right after Kevin managed to give George a crushing blow just now. Actually Kevin wanted this fight to end quickly, because his body condition also had limits and his stamiba had almost run out because of the fight he had been doing all this time. But when he looked around, apparently there were still many gargoyle monsters waiting their turn to attack him, so that meant Kevin's condition was still not safe, and he still had to face many enemies surrounding him there.

 However, suddenly a surprising thing happened. When a group of armed men began to arrive to that place and immediately open fire to the gargoyles around Kevin. So it made the atmosphere change again into a riot and full of chaos. As a result of the attack from the armed forces, the Gargoyles were scattered and tried to save themselves, from the threat of terror, which were from the NeoGen's monster hunters squad.
