Chapter 9 : Monster's Organization

 The battle that took place in the dock area became increasingly chaotic, with the arrival of NeoGen Soldiers who shot every Gargoyles that was clustered there. And of course Cross also came with those Soldiers to led the attack process in that place firmly and courageously, he gave orders to his Soldiers to wiped out all the gargoyles that were there, and he also order them to don't let anyone escape. Cross kept shouting giving orders while shooting and killing the gargoyles mercilessly.

 Then Cross said. "Hahha, tonight we got a lot of prey." Said Cross.

 "Yes Captain, but why do they change simultaneously in one place?" Asked one Soldier.

 "I don't know, and I don't care, the important thing is we have to be able to finish them all, and don't let any of them remain !!"

 "Yes, sir!!" Answer all soldiers.

 They all kept shooting at the gargoyles blindly, so that the place was now filled with the corpses of the gargoyles lying on the ground and then burned to ashes and only their horns were left, while some gargoyles who were very far from the shooting range of the Soldiers, managed to escape and was able to survive the m******e, including George, who immediately fled when he saw most of his men had been killed by monster hunter troops.

 Cross the Captain of the monster hunting troops, kept shooting every gargoyle that could be seen by his eyes, one by one the horns of the monsters fell after the monsters were shot dead and their bodies burns, so that the soldiers who were in charge of collecting horns could take all the precious horns for safekeeping, and then all the horns will be taken to the NeoGen headquarters to be produced into useful items.

 Then, while shooting at the objects he was hunting, Cross accidentally saw a familiar figure, namely Kevin. In the chaptoc situation, among the gargoyles who were fighting the soldiers, Cross saw Kevin carrying Oliver (in human form) to safety. Kevin takes Oliver away from there so he can avoid the m******e, they both walk towards the back of a container.

 Then without thinking, Cross immediately chased the two of them while continuing to aim his gun forward, Cross was running so fast that he could definitely stop Kevin and Oliver, and there was no way he would lose track of them both. But when Cross reached the back of the container, he was surprised, because the figures of Kevin and his friend were not there, as if they both had just disappeared, like ghosts. So Cross wondered in his mind.

 "I'm sure, what I just saw was Kevin. How could he just disappear? Impossible!" Cross said.

 Then after the situation there began to calm down, because all the remaining monsters had finished being exterminated and some of them had managed to escape, Cross walked towards his vehicle to return to the headquarters of the monster hunter troops located in the NeoGen building. While Cross was walking, a soldier approached him to report.

 "Yes, sir! Are we all going to get bonus? " Asked the soldier, who seemed quite close with Cross.

 "Of course, tonight we have the big catch." Cross said as he continued to stare forward, as if he was thinking of something. Meanwhile, the soldier beside him just smiled in response to that answer, while accompanying Cross walking.

 A Moments later, in another place, or rather in a narrow, dark and quiet alley. Kevin and Oliver are staying there to rest their body condition. The two of them sat while leaning against the wall. Then After a long silence, Oliver started asking Kevin a questions.

 "I want to ask, why are you helping me?"

Meanwhile, in another place, George was sitting in a dilapidated chair holding his cellphone. He was currently calling someone important, so George's tone sounded reluctant.

 "Hello, Boss." George calls his Boss, namely Edgar.

 "Yes George, what's wrong?" Edgar's voice sounded in George's ear.

 Edgar's figure is in a noisy and crowded place, so Edgar must first walk away from the crowd to go to quiet place. Edgar's figure walks into a dark place that is quiet and not many people pass, this place is a room behind the stage where an event takes place. He took all George's words very seriously. The figure of Edgar is a 35-year-old man with a tall stature, and has a neatly combed middle part of his hair, he wears white clothes and acts like a respected priest, he smile and bow whenever someone passes by, and right now it seems like Edgar is attended an important event held by him in this place.

 During the intervals of the program, Edgar told George to deliver his report quickly and in detail, so he can understand the situation. Then George immediately said like this.

 "What??!! How can?!" Edgar felt angry upon hearing this.

 “Qyuzi the restaurant owner was killed by Oliver. Oliver dares to kill his fellow gargoyles to save a human's life. "

So that everyone who was there became amazed and praised at Edgar, then to get more sympathy, Edgar hugged the man who had recovered from a stroke, so that immediately the atmosphere turned to be full of emotion and at the same time became more festive. Edgar was able to convince all of his followers to worship him even more. Even though he does all these things using the abilities he has, and it is also what can make him get so many loyal followers, especially followers that he can eat whenever he wants.

 So that means, Edgar is someone who has followers from both sides, it from the human side, or the monster gargoyle side. He truly possessed considerable and terrifying power and reign, so defeating him was not an easy job for anyone.
