“Did you really think she’d fall into bed with you?” I laughed, looking over at a sullen Griffin. He was pacing back and forth now in an accommodation given to us by the tribe. Things had taken a sudden turn when Griffin learned that the imposing female Alpha was his mate. From what I had heard, it was hard to resist the urge to mate when two destined mates finally met. However, it was no secret that Griffin was here to recruit the tribe to join the Council so the Council could 'request' volunteer fighters if need be.
