"I know a lot of you including myself can't read and write which will be a major issue if we were to encounter people from other places.

The second thing is that each and everyone of you men needs to learn how to fight. Defending the pack won't be only for the selected few who work at the borders but also everyone else. This includes even young kids.

And the third thing is that Every woman here will need to learn a skill that will help this pack flourish. No one in this pack is allowed to sit by without doing any work because the more people lazy around the more our pack will be on the bottom and I don't want that.

The only people who can take a break are the elderly people who are incapable of doing anything. But if you are an elderly and is still capable of doing something that can help this pack flourish then you are most welcome to do so. The only thing I want is to see everyone working together to make this pack better! That's it for now you are all dismissed."

Murmurs filled up the place as everyone else scattered going to have their breakfast while Lucas and I did the same.

Once we were done we both took my dad's old car which was the only car that existed in this pack and Lucas who knew how to drive drove off into town straight to the hospital were I was admitted.

"Good evening miss." I said to the receptionist, "Do you by any chance know a guy who was admitted here three weeks ago by a really beautiful lady that had short black hair with beautiful brown eyes?"

She looked at me up and down then responded, "I don't know who you are talking about sir there are a lot of beautiful women with short black hair who come to this hospital."

That mad me frustrated inside.

"Miss how about this. Three weeks ago there was a man who was admitted here in a really bad state with wounds covering his entire body. Do you perhaps know him?" Lucas asked

"Sirs this is a hospital such cases happen all the time I can't keep track of the many patients who come here." She said in monotone.

I sighed looking around until I spotted the same doctor who was there when I woke up.

"Doctor!" I called to him and he stopped.

"yes need some help?" He asked.

"Hi three weeks ago I was admitted here do you remember me?" I asked him

The doctor looked at me for a while then realisation hit as he said, "yes Raul Black right?"

"Raul Black?" Lucas questioned looking at the doctor in a confused manner. I was equally confused because I clearly knew my name wasn't Raul until, That's it Raul was the one who took over my body that day. He is the one who spoke to my Belle.

" Yes I am Raul Black." I confirmed and he smiled at me.

" I remember you, a girl uh Raima Black brought you in and you were in a terrible state I am glad to know you are doing alright. I hope you both are happy."

"The girl who brought me uh Raima, do you perhaps know where I can find her?" I asked him

" wait I thought she was your girlfriend, how can you not know where your girlfriend is or did you break the poor girl's heart? She was really in love with you and spent an entire week here waiting for you to wake up."

"Really?" I asked my heart doing summersaults while Lucas looked at me in shock.

Well I was equally shocked, that beautiful girl liked me?

"Yeah and you broke her heart stupid human." Raul sneered disdainfully but I blocked him off. I didn't want to feel more guilt than I already was.

"Yes of course. She is a really nice girl boy, if you broke her heart better apologise otherwise you won't find a girl that will Love you the way she does. She even fought with one of the nurses over you. I am only telling you this because I know what true love is like. You only fall in love once and also so that you can know what kind of treasure you are about to lose." The doctor advised

" doctor I want to go look for her, Did she perhaps leave her number or business card or anything that might help me locate her?" I asked

"Yes she did leave me her number and her dad's business card but I don't remember were I left it. Why don't you boys come back a little later or you can leave me your phone number so that I can forward hers to you once I find it."

"We don't really have phones right now." I said.

"Okay then why don't you maybe come back tomorrow. My shift just ended and I would like to go home now."

"Thank you for you help doctor, we will surely come back tomorrow." Lucas

Said

"sure see you." With that the doctor left while I sighed.

"Woah so your mysterious girl really spent a week here waiting for you to wake up and the moment you did, you ran away from her? Not cool man." lucas gave me a disappointed look.

"What else was I suppose to do lucas she looked so rich and really beautiful I thought she wasn't going to accept me."

"And you ended up breaking her heart. You know even though everyone said you would never find your mate because you didn't have one, I am pretty sure this girl uh Raima is your mate. She is probably a werewolf and I wonder what she must be going through now wolves tend to be easily heart broken when their mates live them even if they have only know each other for a few days."

This made me feel even more guilty why did I ran away from her?

"Yes you should feel guilty." Raul rubbed salt on my wound.

"Anyway what are going to do now? Our pack really needs a luna." Lucas asked.

" we will Look for work buy a phone then come back here to see if the doctor has found the number."

"But what if he doesn't find her number.?" He asked Lucas was always the negative one.

"Don't be negative Lucas can't you at least be a little positive for your brother and if he doesn't find the number then I will find some other way to get my Raima. Come on I declared that everyone in the pack has to work and that includes us." I said dragging him outside the hospital building.

"But Hugo wait what kind of job are we even going to find? I haven't even learnt that much at school except reading and writing."

"We will figure something out okay." I responded.

We moved around town looking for work until of course we got lucky and found work in a near by factory were they needed people to lift boxes containing the products they were going to sell in the market.

We helped lift the boxes and once we were done, they paid us 50 Euros each.

"Come again tomorrow, boys and bring some friends too if you have some." the manager who hired us said.

" sure thank you sir." I responded and we started our way back home.

It was now 5p.m both me and Lucas were exhausted and hungry.

"See Lucas you don't always have to be negative." I said to him staring at the 50 Euros that was in my hands.

"I know Hugo but sometimes I just think about the possibility of things like for example, this money is little, It can't even buy a phone. How will you manage to buy it?"

"We will work harder." I responded as he drove the car back to the pack.

When we reached, everyone wanted to see the alpha and tell about how their day went and what they accomplished but I was beyond exhausted.

After lifting about ten heavy boxes I was bound to be tired. But as alpha there was nothing I could do since I hadn't yet appointed people to take care of the money and every other affairs.

I went to my room freshened up then came downstairs to Mr ventrigo's office.

"Alpha." Aunt Clara was the first to come in as Lucas and I sat there with uncle Adrian.

"Aunt please don't call me alpha just call me Hugo or something."

"Sorry child." She said sheepishly, "well I came to inform you that there are some women who have decided that they will be teachers and teach the little kids how to read and write if that's okay with you. They are really good and taught some of the other kids today itself to prove their capability, they are only waiting for your approval."

"Yes of course they can start whenever they are ready. That's good news aunt."

" sure and also Luciana the pack doctor has requested that other women go to her so she can teach them everything they need to know about running a hospital, she is the only doctor available in this pack and it would be a good idea to recruit many more women who can assist her since you will be building a bigger pack hospital.
