We brought the boy into Phoenix's house so I could clean him up and I made him something to eat. “Are you feeling better?” I sat at the table next to him. He nodded and didn’t say anything for a while, he finished his food then pushed it forward and laid his head down on the table. “Can I go home now?” He asked me. I frowned. “I want to take you home but you said it’s a secret right?” The nari probably lived in hiding for safety, but why wasn’t Ayden in hiding with them? “That’s the rule, no one leaves and if we do we can’t tell anybody where we live.” He explained. I sighed. “Then can you remember the directions? Maybe you could take yourself.” I wasn’t worried about going to this nari village, if it was a secret then I respected that. I only cared about him getting home. He shrugged
