I waited for 20 minutes before Ayden came back from checking the place out. I noticed there were guys guarding the perimeter of the building but none of them saw me because I was kneeling behind bushes at a distance.
“Hey.” Ayden said as he dropped out of a tree next to me.
I jumped a little from being startled and stood up then turned to him. “So? What’d you find?”
He kneeled down and so did I. “Well there are a ton of men, more inside than out. There are three stories and one basement, I think that’s where my parents are being kept. There are labs inside, maybe they're experimenting on them, I’m not sure. They’re not labs like human science labs, they’re alchemy labs for potions and enchantments.” He whispered as he explained.
“So we’re dealing with mages?” I asked.
He shrugged.
