Still at the security meeting, the hall got rowdy and noisy with everyone spewing out either suggestions or accusations.

Some were of the notion that the crossbreeds were just a hoax the underworld were using to deceive and make them afraid. They went on to say that it is never possible for a being to possess two forms, they went further to advice Valerie and Joe to avoid thinking of the crossbreeds too much and focus on the safety of lives and properties from the underworld.

While to others, especially security leaders from different security outfit, accused the government of knowing the identities of the crossbreeds and are hiding it just keep themselves safe when the underworld come. This point brought out a discovery no one had ever thought of, the absence of the government officials when the underworld attacked. This questions caused an uproar amongst the werewolves tribes represented in the meeting.

Valerie and Joe were very disappointed at the way things were going knowing nothing positive would be resolved or decided at this point. To Valerie and Joe, the meeting was a big sham by the government, just to show the populace there concerns over world problems, as their relevance were dying out and was replaced by Valerie's and Joe's authority.

Before the meeting, it has been the talk of the town for the government to hand over their powers to Valerie and Joe as they were no longer relevant. This made Valerie and Joe believe that, this meeting was the government trying to buy the confidence of the populace in them once again.

At the rate of things, one of the organizers whispered to Valerie and Joe to end and adjourn the meeting to another date.

Valerie was relieved to end the eyesore of a meeting. This also means the next stage of her secret plan with the others is about to take place.

Valerie called for order in the room as she tried to end the meeting, she slated another meeting in a months time. She informed everyone that, during the time to the next meeting, theyshould all gather up reasonable ideas and suggestions to end the menace of the underworld.

Immediately she ended the meeting, there was a great vibration in the room that looked like an earthquake. As the hall shock tremendously, rocks and ice glaciers fell from atop the hall. It shook so bad that almost everyone were at injured or cut deeply by the rocks and glaciers, and even Valerie and Joe were not left out of the injuries.

When all the shaking ended, some of them hurried out while others stayed back trying to recover from their pains.

The plan Anglo told Valerie was that simple, if they could find a way to injure everyone deeply and then check up on them minutes later, this was to know those who healed so fast so that they can be apprehended as soon as possible as that is the trait of a vampire.

Valerie and Joe could not leave though as they were seriously injured from the falling rocks and glaciers. The remaining plan was to be carried out by Elizabeth, Alex, Anglo and Michael.

The rocks falling was done by a device created Joe's technical crew. This was were Anglo was afraid of her plans failing, getting a device to cause such damage and the number of casualties, and, if not mortalities. But this wasn't time contemplating the success of her plan as she and Michael, showed Alex and Valerie the list of all who attended the meeting.

Alex and Elizabeth were to go after those who came from the human world, while Michael and Anglo after those from the werewolf world.

In no time, Elizabeth and Alex stormed the houses of those who came to the meeting from the human world.

To their greatest surprise, Anglo's plan was working perfectly.

Alex would shoot at the caught crossbreeds with his gun loaded with silver bullets while Elizabeth uses her strength and speed to restrain and cuff them with silver cuffs before they could think of attacking in any way.

Also, at the werewolf world Michael and Anglo were also surprised at the fact that it worked, an idea Anglo thought would fail, was working perfectly as they also stumbled on some crossbreeds trying to heal too.

When the crossbreeds found out they have caught, they would try to defend themselves by attacking Anglo and Michael, not knowing they came prepared.

When they try to attack, Michael would speed burst to another end of the room allowing him to stay behind the crossbreed's view. This would distract crossbreed while Anglo would shoot at the crossbreeds with a gun loaded with silver bullets. After being shot, Michael would speed burst around the crossbreeds tying him with a long silver chain until they are completely restrained.

They continued going after all the attendees of the meeting in search of possible crossbreeds until they meet with the one sheltering Lucinda.

Lucinda wasn't around at the moment as she went to secretly get blood supplies from the underworld because vampires don't drink the blood of werewolves, only that of the humans.

On Lucinda's way back, she could see some people carrying her crossbred brother completely restrained with chains roughly out of the house. She wanted to interfere and save her brother but realized she was too weak to do so as she hasn't drank any blood in days.

Lucinda was so scared as he wasn't just roughly dragged out of the house but was also beaten as he was taken out.

Lucinda almost had tears in her eyes as his crossbred brother threw a glance at her. The glance and the expression he had on his face were so pitiful and pathetic.

Empathetically, Lucinda knew his brother was calling out for help and at the same time telling her not to do anything as it would be too dangerous for her.

She immediately rushed inside the house as they were completely out of sight. She looked for her interworldly communication device to call her father. She did so trembling in fear of her life.
