Chapter 79

After Valerie had killed the crossbreeds from the underworld, Irwin and Samuel. A worldwide meeting was set, involving all security leaders and the course of this meeting was to know, and discuss how to fish out crossbreeds working in disguise in the security ranks.

This meeting is to be hosted by the security heads, Valerie and Joe but this meeting was organized by the government for a growing concern of the crossbreeds and a rumor of another attack by the underworld.

This was to be held in a weeks time and arrangements are already underway.

Michael had come to Alex's house late at night to discuss something important concerning the world's security meeting.

Michael was fully aware he wouldn't be part of the meeting and maybe the reason why he visited Valerie late at night.

"Valerie, I'm so sorry coming to you at this time of the night. But I've something very important to tell you." Michael said seeing Valerie making her way to the living area wearing only a big top owned by Alex. Alex and Valerie weren't prepared to receive any visitor at that time but they ushered him in all because he is no ordinary person to them.

Alex made dirty jokes of himself trying to c*m before he came knocking at the door unexpectedly, jokingly blaming Michael for not allowing him bring a little baby to the world. They all laughed before getting into the reason of Michael's coming.

"I'd be really be busy and I know you too, Valerie, would be busy that is why I came at this time to have a serious conversation with. Once again I'm sorry for barging into your privacy." Michael said as he apologized again.

"No problems, go on. You've to be fast though, I and my baby have an unfinished business." Valerie said smiling at them.

Michael went on to tell them about his recent discovery that night, he just found out some government official talking through a strange communication device. And when he heard closely, the official called the person over the device a Lord. He didn't quite get if it was Lord Zane or someone else. Michael also revealed that the conversation they had sounded malicious.

But that wasn't the main reason he came, he had wanted to talk to Valerie about the security meeting, just that, the discovery he made that night, prompted him to visit that night.

"Don't you think having a meeting wouldn't solve anything. The crossbreeds would also be in attendance in their different disguise." Michael said.

"So what do you suggest at the point? Do you have any other idea than the security meeting?" Valerie asked.

"I have an idea. Well, not my idea but Anglo's you know how sneaky she can be. She actually brought a suggestion to take down the crossbreeds in one of our conversations. But she didn't think it would work. To me, I think it would." Michael said.

He also to them about the plan. Valerie bought the idea and decided to work on it.

The next day, she went over to Michael's to have a talk with Anglo about her idea Michael revealed to her and Alex the previous night.

They had quite a lengthy discussion, Anglo revealed the full details of her plan. She still insisted it may fail, but Valerie also insisted to give it a try.

As the meeting day drew nearer, Valerie contacted Joe and Elizabeth telling them about Anglo's plan. He wanted all of them to work on this plan. He also told them to keep this secret, even from their group members.

Veronica and Gabriel were also left out. No one could be trusted at this point.

While the government officials were preparing for the security, Valerie, and her trusted friends together with Alex, had their plans underway.

Anglo, the main orchestrator of this plan was at the helm of affairs as she gave the orders on what needs to be done.

"And we're live at the beacon complex, where the first ever security meeting between the merged world would be holding. Stay tuned as we get you updated as events unfold." A news reported live at the venue of the security meeting. The news reporter could be heard from a television in a restaurant and also everywhere that tuned into that channel.

The security meeting was about to start, all security ranking officers were going into the venue one after the other.

As they entered, they were given tags at different entrance.

The venue had only two entrances, these entrances was guarded by different security officers. But the tag issuers were Anglo and Michael, though they were there on a different mission but disguised as tag issuers.

Everyone that was expected were all seated in the venue.

The hall wasn't that big as the officials expected weren't much. The hall was an ancient meeting hall between the humans and werewolves years ago but was abandoned due to the separation. The hall was built in form of a cave with rock hard seats with high resting backs. Another rock was at the front of the seats, it served as a podium.

All invited government officials and security officials were all dressed in different traditional ancestral attire. The werewolves wore long suits jackets with lots of furs at the collar, their Jackets had different cat skin designs. The humans either wore short silky jackets with tribal markings on it, or just plain suit.

Valerie made her way to the podium to welcome everyone as the host of the event. She was dressed in different attire from her fellow wolves. She had on a red flowery gown with tribal paintings from the right side of her face to her right arms.

"Welcome to the first ever security meeting of the merged world. Thanks to our rulers for making this possible, it's so nice having all of you here." Valerie welcomed everyone with a very bright smile on her face.

Valerie stated the pressing issues and the reason for the meeting with ranking official. She also told everyone that their suggestion to end the menace of the underworld and it crossbreeds will be allowed.

Joe also made his way to the podium, he welcomed everyone and told them how the crossbreeds infiltrated his squad and how it is important to fish out all crossbreeds.
