Alex was so angry hearing that from Valerie, he never expected Valerie to say such to him.

Once again, Alex was rudely reminded of how he fell in-love a different being stronger than his kind.

Regardless, he still loves Valerie so much and wouldn't trade his feelings for anything, not even for a fellow human like him. But the steady reminders he gets of the kind of person Valerie has become is of great concern to him.

At some point, Alex would keep emotions aside knowing that Valerie actions are because he is of no use to her in her fights. And other times he would be considerate on his thoughts, knowing this was Valerie's job to carry out and he just has to help no matter how little his inputs are.

Valerie, didn't know she was hurting Alex by giving him little or no attention just like she does for her job. She felt Alex would understand but that wasn't as she got to find out as they argued.

She knew what she said was wrong, that is, referring Alex and humans as weaklings. She defended herself saying she said all that in anger.

As both of them laid on the bed, Alex looked so unhappy, his mood could tell all the sadness and heartbreak he felt inside. He felt Valerie was using her strength to intimidate him indirectly and its hurting his feelings.

"You can not leave me, we'll never break up. I got all my strength to fight anytime I see you. I'm really sorry for calling you a weakling, I'd never say that to go again, please forgive me."

Valerie pleaded and went closer to his face to kiss him. This kiss got into an intimate one as they started caressing themselves while they kissed.
