Lord Zane got really enraged seeing almost all his crossbreeds he took years to train, get killed in few seconds.
"You've just started what you can't finish Valerie. You'll be hearing from me soon, and I promise you, you'd surely pay dearly for your actions today." Lord Zane said expressing every bit of his anger while stressing the words he said, and he immediately ended the visualized call.
Lucinda seeing how her half brothers and sisters were killed, with the anger of her father. The fear immediately cleared off her mind as she got strongly motivated to kill Valerie.
"Valerie, You've got for yourself another enemy. I'll make sure father fulfill his wish, you must die Valerie, you must die." Lucinda said as she wiped off the tears of deep pain from her eyes. She sneakingly found her way out to the house she stayed.
Michael, and the rest were also shocked and almost afraid of the Valerie they just saw. Her effrontery, audaciousness and heartlessness all contained in a rage no one have ever seen before. Even Joe who shared the same rank with her was totally mesmerized and intimidation by her actions. There was a sudden cold silence there as they could clearly hear the rushing and whistling sound of the wind.
"Y'all should get ready for another war, I can feel it coming. This time it's going to tougher and harder than expected. But losing to those beast should never be an option." Valerie said coldly and emotionlessly backing everyone.
She moved straight to her house without engaging anyone in any sort of discussion or conversation while Alex followed her.
Meanwhile, at the underworld, Lord Zane's anger couldn't be controlled as he smashed anything he laid his hands on at the wall. He immediately requested for Irwin and Samuel but he was told they weren't in the castle. He kept on boiling in anger as he requested for Dawn.
He asked Dawn the whereabouts of the remaining crossbreeds, Irwin, Samuel, Freddie and Mark. Dawn denied knowing the whereabouts of them. As he stood there telling lies upon lies on where he saw them last. Just then, Lucinda contacted Lord Zane.
"Father! can you get Dawn close by?" Lucinda said over the magical device as she sounded so emotional and angry.
"He's with me right now. What again?" Lord Zane said.
"Dawn, why did you send Irwin to his death? why did you bring him here? Now our crossbreed siblings are dead." Lucinda said as she began to cry.
"What did you just say? Who is dead?" Lord Zane asked as another anger started to build up inside him.
At that instant, Dawn knew he was in trouble as he stepped back a little. He didn't take permission from his father before taking the other crossbreeds to the human world, in fact, his father had no idea of this until the moment Lucinda told him about Irwin's death.
Lucinda explained everything to her father, how Irwin was brought into the human world to carry out Dawn's secret mission and how they were caught and killed by Valerie. And how Dawn shot Gabriel.
Lucinda got this information from eavesdropping a conversation while going back to the house she stayed at merged world. she got interested in the conversation when she heard them mention they never believed Irwin was a crossbreed.
At the castle, Lord Zane got riled up as he faked a smile at his disgrace of a son. He was so speechless to what to tell his son, finally words got out of his mouth.
"You know, you always try to be like me. But the thing is, you act so foolishly while you try to do it. Your brother effortlessly behaves likes me it just so unfortunate he is not on my side. And you tried to kill him, it's okay Dawn, I think I'm done with you now." Lord said.
Dawn tried to apologize and explain to his father, but Lord Zane wasn't having any of it as he ordered his men lock Dawn in the dungeon till whenever he wants him out.
Lord Zane's man roughly carried Dawn out of Lord Zane's living room as he continued to beg his father for his forgiveness until he was out of sight.
Lord Zane sat on his seat feeling frustrated of everything that has happened only just that day. He thought of what to do as all that was left of his thoughts were just revenge and anger.
It was time to use his last and only trump card to get at Valerie and the merged world. And Lucinda could be his Messiah or his undoing, depends on how it goes.
He decided to be very careful this time not to ever lose to Valerie again. He prayed that Lucinda should be his savior as he was about to use his last option.
Meanwhile, at the werewolf part of the merged world, Lucinda was painfully mourning the death of her closest friend and sibling, Irwin. She felt all alone without having the slightest idea on what to do.
Suddenly, she was contacted by her father.
"Lucinda, it is time. It's time to help your father win this battle. You and the puppet spell you have with you, are my last options now. Are you ready, Lucinda?" Lord Zane asked calmly over the magical device.
"I'm ready dad. I am more than ready to reduce these creatures to nothing for all they did to you, and all of us at the underworld." Lucinda said looking motivated than ever amidst the tears from her eyes.
She got up from where she sat and moved out of the house as she received instruction from her father on what to do.
An entirely new battle is about to unfold. Another destiny path is about open for Valerie and the rest of the world with the coming of Lucinda, without Valerie or anyone knowing about it.
Ongoing, Lucinda's only goal and destiny is to destroy Valerie and reduce her to nothing for all that she did to them.
Few days later, as Alex was walking back home he met a girl who looked pitiful and needed help.
"Hey! you look homeless, how can I help?" Alex said sympathetically, but he got no reply from the helpless lady.
"Hey! Can you hear me? What's your name? Alex asked again.
"My is name Lucy, I need food." Lucinda Finally replied Alex looking so starved and weak.
