2 month passed since the car incident,
.......Mayuree started taking more cautions then before, she is always so sceptical about everything and jumpy all the time, as if she could feel someone's eyes on her all the time, as if bunch of ghost figures alwayd keeping eye on her,.....
on them,
all of them.
but nothing changed,
nothing happened after that incident much to Mayuree's dismay. Rikk and she would eat together, sleep together, when he is out at office she would be out too.... at a place Kallan which provided for her to work without anyone noticing her,.......But whenever he's at home he made sure never to leave her side as he knew she was stressed and afraid! but actually she didn’t want him to know about her work and didn’t want him to be suspicions about her.
even though she was infact stressed and afraid but never uttered a word about the car vandalizing incident, but maybe he could tell that her lost look, she needed him now more than ever.
In these few months,....He saw!
no he noticed phases of his wife where she was the most passionate lover and in the next moment she would turn into someone different!
cold, calculative, emotionless,....
someone he does not recognize at all,
Then, an afraid one, vulnerable one that would let out a blood curling scream because of some nightmare,......
every night! ever since that accursed day!
And then a distant one...... who will be so absorbed in her own thought and wouldn't even notice him all day at all.
It was actually amusing for him to see how she would change from one mood to another so quickly but very concerning too.....
He couldn't tell which one of them was his wife,.....
If only he knew that, she was trying to block her pain instead of facing it.
sometimes he would just stay awake to check if she is sleeping peacefully..,Or if sleeping at all
She was a light sleeper, a restless one
And she never slept whole night especially after that accursed incident,......
only if he knew she never slept peacefully at all in past
sometime she'd let out a scream, sometimes she would cry in sleep as if she was in pain.
lots of pain,.....
sometime she would beg someone to let her go, to stop and as if she was being tortured.....
In her sleep
And he thought she was moaning because of some wet dreams about him...... that day in Skagit Valley
Is that the reason she was reluctant to move in his bed room !?...
Her nightmares
What are those about ?
Why,....!
His heart clenched painfully whenever he saw at her in that state...sometimes he would just pull her in his embrace in her sleep and keep her tightly wrapped to him and comfort her like someone comforting a crying baby.
He knew she wasn't much of an eater before but compared to that whatever she eats nowadays is next to nothing ,......3/4 morsel, that's all,.....
and then she can't even keep it inside, she'd throw up eventually, she had lost significant amount of weight!
No matter whatever the food is! she is never interested......she was what! straight up anorexic ?
The maids has been instructed to take care of her when she is at home especially about food as she was careless of her diet,
but she really....like really likes dark chocolates, and ice cream in chocolate flavour of course and hersey's chocolate syrup for her cold coffee......so he made sure to stock the freeze with it at least

and with that Mayuree called the other 2 inside.......
one of the agent were really sceptic about her so, he tried convince Shariar that maybe he's going easy.....but he didn’t listen!
as they came in looking surprised, she told them to what she was about to do.....reluctantly but Zahin agreed.
so, they started telling him everything from very beginning, kidnappings and every single thing that happened, or at least whatever they could remember from early age
Shariar and others, they listened everything very carefully even though everybody was doubtful of their intentions......but after a long discussion with officers Shariar made some call in various places to verify some given details. And a day after he actually found out everything they said about their kidnappings was true.
Natalie was taken from and Orphanage in canada. Though it was reported to police station but when they found no clue they dropped the case after 6 months.
Kol was taken away when he was on the way home from school......they found he's bike was still at the side of the road but he wasn’t there! he was missing from upstate New York.
Zahin was taken from Pakistan Afghanistan border side village and Mayuree was taken from a park near her home in California......it happened when her ma went to buy her some Ice-cream and when she came back Mayuree was gone, funny thing was that the park wasn’t really empty.....still nobody saw anything.
as Mayuree was the younger one of all 4 of them......yep! Zahin was elder, then Kol and then Natalie, so she didn’t remember much of her surroundings but!
but Kol......he remembered many things about himself......most definitely his full name and his father's and his mother's as well.
his name was Kol Norman Sherpherd
After everything they told those agents..... he was in deep thought!
he was always very secretive one, Mayuree knew that, though she voiced it out.
he never said more than just few monosyllabic sentence even when they became friends.....specially about himself! his identity!
maybe it was their luck that just because Harold wanted hoard of children to train them as his personal army, he never really pressed any of them into telling him about their pasts, because they were children and would do whatever he asks them to do.......and because he was going to change their future, knowing past wasn’t really necessary,........
or so he thought!
that's where he made the mistake!
but these 4 knew each other enough to know that he knew about himself just fine.....and they realized why!
because of his father's occupation!
and because he knew what could have happened if Harold finds out.......he knew better than spilling out everything willingly infront of that bastard Lothbrok. so, he kept quiet and waited for one opportunity all these years......
to open his mouth and to tell the truth!
and the truth was his dad was the Director of FBI Kallan Shepherd and his mom was Senator Annison Shepherd!
believe it or not every set of jaw dropped on the floor after hearing his secret!
