The gold emblem shining on the front of the table like someone purposely has kept it for my attention. I squinted my eyes and picked the emblem. It matches with the one I got on the threat. Carved snake and the sword in between. It must be related to a royal kingdom. No one can actually have a beautiful emblem carved with elegance. The intruder might have been here. Damn! He was moving in the palace like he owns this place. I wanted to put down the s**t and strangle him to death. But, I need to be careful. Just like what Arabella did earlier, the intruder might be trying to provoke me. It’s almost dusk and Caspian hasn’t returned. My insecurities were rising at alarming speed. If he had decided to stay outside the kingdom, he must have sent a messenger to inform me.
