Aeris’s pov
The advisor fell on me and I grabbed him before he fell down. His condition left me devastated, and he was losing a lot of blood.
“No…” I wanted to scream, but I couldn’t.
“Run… He is behind us. You need to live, Queen Aeris.” He was losing his breath.
“No… No… You can’t die here. You promised to tell me everything…” I was crying with his body in my arms.
“Your father can help you…” As he spoke, he lost his breath and collapsed in my arms. I was scared and let him go because he died protecting me. He wanted to see me live and that’s what I would do.
