Walking inside the cave gave me an intuition of meeting the intruder as I could smell a significant rogue lurking somewhere in the shadows. My mind remained alert as we reached a dead end. Scrunching my brows together in confusion, there wasn’t supposed to be a dead end here. My warriors were behind me when the earthquake happened. It caused havoc inside and made the rocks fall from certain places.
There was a huge rock inside the cave, just above my head, which was mobile. Before it could fall down, Otis came running towards me to push away and take the fall on my behalf. My eyes widened and my lycan instinct kicked in. Luckily, I grabbed Otis’s wrist on time and pulled him to the safer side.
