Running on the horses for hours gave me a backache but I needed to find hidden passages from the outskirts to locate the whereabouts of the intruder. Apart from magic, there could be only a secret passage which allows him to travel inside the territory. Surely, there was a presence of magic in the kingdom but I couldn’t point it out, yet. I need to be more alert since the last message doesn’t seem to be only a distraction.
I had to hide the message from Aeris so she could focus on her duty as queen. If she had found out the message was delivered to her, she would have panicked and been restless. It will only temper her ability to think straight in the meeting. While she works hard to keep the kingdom secure from possible attacks and mishappenings, it was my duty to keep her
