Don't mess with me, Mr. Stark.

Dean's POV

I do not usually use my power to go after somebody, but Collin Green and his family are a problem. I do not want Collin near Valerie.

I know John wants to retire, but Collin does not wish to take over the family business. Collin is uninterested in his father's company. I believe it is because he is a lot like Oliver. Collin doesn't seem like somebody who can run a business. However, I do not know where he works or what he does for a living.

John Green is not getting any younger. I know he is tired of waiting for his son. I am willing to buy out the majority of his shares in his company for double the market price. John can retire, and I will take over JG Industries.

I do not know how and why Bell Enterprises are involved with JG Industries. Perhaps the CEO of Bell Enterprises is friends with Valerie. Is she trying to protect the Greens against me for the sake of her friend, or is Valerie working for Bell Enterprises?

Before she disappeared off the radar, I learned one thing about Valerie Morris: She was attending university and studying architecture. It would make sense if she were working for Bell Enterprises. It will also make sense why Bell Enterprises is helping JG Industries. Valerie may have a hand in it.

I have arranged a golf game with John Green today. I want to talk to him about his majority share in JG Industries. I will offer John double the market value for his share but on one condition. He and his family, including his son, need to move away. I remember Collin telling Hannah that Valerie does not need his money, so money is not an issue. I only wanted to bankrupt them to get rid of Collin. I could use his father's position to make him leave Valerie alone and tell me where she is.

I wouldn't say I like to use my financial position to bankrupt smaller businesses, but I won't do anything to get Valerie back into my life. Everything is fair in love and war, and I will fight for her no matter what.

I know John is desperate to retire, and I have discovered that his wife wants to move to Europe. I will even offer them a European property if I can eliminate Collin. However, I cannot ask Collin anything about Valerie because I am sure he will not tell me anything about her. He would be furious because I made his father sell everything to me under those conditions, and he would have to move with his parents, or else his parents would not get the money or the property in Europe.

I know John is very curious about why I want to see him. He accepts my invitation to join me for a round of golf. He asks if he can bring his son along. I agree and tell Oliver to get ready to go and play golf.

Oliver does not like to play golf, but I told him he has to go because we are buying a business, and he needs to see how it is done. However, when we reach the golf course, Oliver sees who is waiting for us, and I can see he is furious. I smile at him and tell him to relax. Then he smiles.

"You want to get rid of Collin so I can have Valerie. Dad, you are a genius." Oliver says.

I let him believe whatever he wants to. I will have to fight my son for valories attention as well. I know that Valerie is not interested in him because she looks at him as if disgusted. My son is no competition for me. He has no backbone, and he is not a man. He is always letting his mother fight his battles.

I am sure Hannah is trying hard to get rid of Belinda, but Belinda will cling to Oliver because she knows if she does not, I will recall my loan to her father, and they will go bankrupt as the interest they owe me is high. I have already warned her father I will recall my loan if Belinda and Oliver get a divorce.

Hannah, however, wants our son to be with Valerie because she does not want me near Valerie. Hannah is very selfish.

"Mr. Stark, I know you did not come to play golf with us for the pleasure. Why are we here?" John asks. Collin looks at me and smiles.

"I am not one to dodge the question. I want to buy your majority shares in JG Industries." I say. John laughs.

"I'm sorry they are no longer on the market. My son has taken over. He is, at last, ready to run JG Industries. I appreciate your offer, but I am glad my son has decided to take over from me. I have enough money to retire, and my wife and I are moving to Europe. I'm sorry, Mr Stark. You are too late." John says.

Oliver looks furious. He glares at Collin, but Collin does not even pay him any attention. Collin knows who his real competitor for Valerie's heart is.

"Yes, I am taking over from my father, Mr. Stark. We don't want to play golf with you or your son. You see, Mr Stark, I know who you are after. Unfortunately, I am not willing to give up my fiance for the likes of you. I am eager to run my father's business to keep her in my life. You thought you could mess with me, Mr. Stark, but I have one thing to say. Down to underestimate me and don't miss with me, Mr. Stark. You may have slept with her once, but she will lie next to me for the rest of her life." Collin says.

Oliver looks at me and then at Collin. John smiles and looks proud of his son. I smile.

"Well, played Collin, but you might have won this battle, but you have not won the war." I say.

I take my golf clubs and walk back to my car, followed by a confused Oliver.
