Chapter 5“So…What are you going to do?” Lisa curled up on the sofa. Richard had gone upstairs to read a bedtime story to Olivia who, of course, had told everyone they’d seen Levi the moment they’d gotten back from the cafe.

She threw a cushion on him. “Don’t be stupid.”
“What can I do?”
She sighed and shook her head. “You go over to his place, knock on the door, and you apologize for being an ass.”
“What?” He hadn’t meant to raise his voice, so he lowered it before continuing. “I ended it for his sake, I’m not apologizing for doing so.”
“I don’t care what you think you did. I want my brother back, and how has your chickening out helped him? Now he is in a foreign country risking his life every day because you’re too afraid to give him what he needs.”
