Chapter 6When Levi woke, the sun was streaming in through the window. He stretched and turned only to stop dead. Madoc was sitting in the armchair in the corner, fully dressed, watching him. “Good morning?” The smile was quick and rather sad. A knot formed in Levi’s belly. “Good morning. Has anyone ever told you how gorgeous you are sleeping in the sunlight?” “I think, maybe, you have mentioned it a couple of times.” Doc nodded. “You look different.” “I do?” He shrugged. “Yes and no. You’re more muscular, your skin is all bronze, makes me wish I could lick you all over.” Levi could live with that. “Why are you way over there?” He didn’t like the distance and if Madoc was to leave him again, he wanted to know right away. Madoc placed his elbows on his thighs and clutched his hair.
