Chapter : 12 Tomorrow Bidding

After an hour of driving, they finally reached the restaurant. "We are here," Kelly said with a smile.
Lisa and Didi looked at the restaurant and were amazed by the decor. The restaurant is one of the richest and most expensive in the country.
As they arrived, Kelly's luxurious car pulled up to the entrance, and the valet promptly opened the doors for them. Layla and Didi were impressed by the grandeur of the restaurant's exterior and the warm welcome they received from the staff.
Inside, the restaurant was even more breathtaking. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a warm glow over the elegant tables and plush seating. The aroma of exquisite cuisine wafted through the air, tantalizing their taste buds.
"Wow, this is my crush's restaurant. It's breathtaking and big," Didi whispered to Lisa. Lisa smiled and nodded her head in agreement.
Kelly led them to a private dining room, where they were greeted with a personalized menu. The options were vast and mouth-watering, with dishes like truffle risotto, pan-seared duck breast, and wild-caught salmon.
Lisa and Didi checked the menu and found that the food was too expensive. Didi exclaimed with wide eyes. They chose the cheapest food because they were not sure if the girl could afford it and they felt pity for her. Sophia saw this and smiled.
Lisa and Didi had a hard time deciding what to order, but Kelly recommended the chef's special, a delightful blend of flavors and textures that did not disappoint. As they enjoyed their meal, they chatted and laughed, getting to know Kelly better. The conversation flowed effortlessly, covering topics from art to social justice. Lisa and Didi were struck by Kelly's kindness, intelligence, and passion for making a difference.
"Why are you so beautiful, just like my friend here? I'm so jealous," said Didi, and they all started laughing.
"Because I inherited my mother and father's genes," Kelly said happily.
Lisa and Didi laughed.
"You are also very beautiful, and I love your sexy brown eyes," Kelly said to Didi.
Didi's mouth opened but she didn't say anything. "Thanks," she replied with a smile.
"I haven't seen anyone as beautiful as my best friend. Not even the celebrities match her beauty. You are the first person," Didi said as she picked up food and put it into her mouth.
"Oh, I'm happy at least I'm worthy of her match in beauty, but she is more beautiful than me," Kelly said playfully, frowning her face
At the door of the private room, a handsome guy was staring at the people inside.
Kelly and her friends were busy chatting and laughing, and their attention didn't reach the door.
The guy put his hands in his pocket, took out his phone, and wanted to take a picture of the three girls to send to someone on his phone.
As Kelly's brother's friend, Alexander, watched them with interest, Layla and Didi didn't notice the subtle glance from the private room door.
He quickly snapped a photo of the trio and sent it to Kelly's brother, before returning to his private room.
Alexander was a tall, handsome young man with a carefree attitude and a reputation for being one of the most handsome guy in the city. As the son of the second-richest man in the country, he was accustomed to luxury and privilege. But despite his wealth and status, Alexander had a kind heart and a mischievous sense of humor.
As the evening went on, Lisa and Didi remained oblivious to the fact that they were being watched. But Kelly seemed to sense that something was amiss. She glanced around the restaurant, her eyes scanning the room with a hint of unease.
"Is everything okay?" Lisa asked, noticing Kelly sudden tension.
"Yes, everything's fine," Kelly replied quickly. "Let's just enjoy the rest of the evening."
As they finished their meal and prepared to leave, Kelly invited them to a wedding party in three days.
Lisa and Didi exchanged a glance, hesitant to commit.
"Sorry, we won't be able to come," Lisa said. "I am also getting married in three days too," Lisa explained.
"Oh," Kelly said, shocked, her eyes turning slightly red. "That's too much of a coincidence and terrible news for me. I just wish my brother would cancel that marriage and marry you."
Lisa and Didi exchanged a glance.
"Well," Kelly's face lit up with excitement. "That's wonderful! I'm so happy for you, Lisa. Perhaps we can celebrate together soon?"
Lisa and Didi became confused because of Kelly's mood swings.
Lisa smiled, feeling a connection with Kelly. "I'd like that. Let's plan something after the wedding."
"Ok, we got it," Kelly replied. "And when we meet soon, you will tell me about your soon-to-be husband and how you fell in love with him in the first place.
" Lisa nodded with a smile, but Kelly didn't notice Lisa's change of mood and dim eyes.
As they finished their meal and prepared to leave the restaurant, Kelly's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Lisa, didi, I have a proposition for you both," Kelly said, her voice bubbly and enthusiastic. "Tomorrow, there's a bidding event at the prestigious Bellvee Manor, and I'd love for you both to accompany me!"
Lisa and Didi exchanged a curious glance. "What's being auctioned off?" Lisa asked, her interest piqued.
Kelly grinned mischievously. "Oh, all sorts of delights! Rare artwork, antique furniture, and some truly exquisite jewelry pieces. Speaking of which, I have my eye on a stunning heart-shaped gold necklace that's said to be truly one-of-a-kind."
Emilia's eyes widened with excitement. "That sounds gorgeous! What's so special about it?"
Kelly's eyes sparkled. "It's crafted from 24-karat gold and features an intricate filigree design. The heart itself is adorned with a delicate diamond, and the chain is adorned with smaller, sparkling gemstones. It's truly a masterpiece!"
Lisa's curiosity was piqued. "And what else will be up for bidding?"
Kelly ticked off the items on her fingers. "Let's see...there's a rare Monet painting, a vintage Rolls-Royce, and even a private island getaway! It's going to be a night to remember, and I wouldn't want to experience it with anyone else."
Didi nodded enthusiastically. "We're in! What time should we meet you tomorrow?"
Kelly beamed. "I'll pick you both up at 6 pm sharp. We'll make a night of it, and who knows, maybe we'll even take home some of the treasures up for bidding!"
With that, the three friends made their plans, eager to experience the thrill of the bidding event together.
As they left the restaurant, Kelly's bodyguard handed Lisa and Didi their car keys. "Thanks for the lovely evening, Kelly," Lisa said, smiling.
"The pleasure was mine," Kelly replied, her eyes sparkling. "Let's do it again soon."
As they drove away, Didi turned to Lisa and whispered, "I had a great time tonight, but there's something more about Kelly, I feel she's not an ordinary person"
Lisa nodded in agreement. "I know what you mean. But I think she's just a kind and generous person."
"Little did they know, Alexander had been watching them from his private room, a sly smile spreading across his face. He sent a text to the person on the phone. 'Your sister's new friends are interesting, don't you think? I think we should keep an eye on them,' he said seriously.
The response from the person was immediate: 'No need.'
Alexander looked at the message. 'What do you mean by "no need"? Do you know this girls?' he asked."
The person's response was provoking, it's not your business.
"Oh, I know it's not my business. Besides, she's not my sister, and I don't have a crush on her," Alexander said seriously.
"I will ask your sister to invite them to the event tomorrow, so I can get to know and study them very well," Alexander said, taking a sip of his wine.
The other person saw the message but didn't reply.
"I will take your silence as a yes." Alexander sent..
