Noelle’s POV

After cutting off our mind link, I could assess the situation and realized that Brittany was not tied up. I felt hurt by her betrayal, and I knew I had to get Chels and me out of here before they realized what had happened.

I hurried over to Chels and woke her up gently. We both locked eyes and quickly did the same thing we had done before. Once I could burn off the ties on our wrists, I quickly and quietly got our ankles done.

Chels and I crawled over to the back of the van and quietly pushed open the back doors, and we both jumped mid-shifting as we took off towards the pack house that was a few hours away.

“Elle, we need to be careful. I know another way back to the pack house and into town.” “Alright, Chels, we need to find somewhere to hide and deal with getting our mates to us,” I told Chels in our pack link. We both took off into the outskirts of our town, and I knew where we were.

My ma’s clinic was nearby, and I knew it would be a good idea to hide in my room if we could both fit to hide in our animal forms. I was happy that we made it to my old house near the clinic and the store. I shifted quickly to unlock the door and lock it behind us both as we made it inside to hide in the safe room. My mum only knew the code for the safe room.

“Chels, we will be safe here, and we need to mind linking with our mates, telling them that we are safe.” “Yeah, let’s do that. You need to sit down and check on your pup.” I nodded at her when I sat on the small couch in the safe room, closing my eyes and checking on my pup.

“Our pup is safe, and I already told Knox what happened and where we are. I even told him that Brittany was behind both kidnappings.” “Thank you, Rory. I know this is hard on all of us, but Britt needs to be charged for her crimes.” I cut our link as I was feeling tired from today’s adventure. Chels and I curled up together, wanting to stay close to each other. I was her Beta female, sworn to protect my Luna and my pup.

** Aurora’s POV

I switched to Elle to letting her sleep some more while I was in control. I carefully got up from the couch I was sleeping on with Chels, who was still passed out. I giggled quietly, not to wake her up and went towards the cameras to see my ma walking in with a few of our guards and Knox in wolf form. I was relieved to see them all, and I was happy to know that we were safe from the ones who had kidnapped us twice. I want answers from Brittany, and I want her to tell me why she thought it was an excellent idea to betray her family and her pack.

** Knox’s POV

The moment I heard from Rory, I knew Brittany was behind the kidnappings, and I wanted to see why she would do this, why she would like to harm not only my mate but Jasper’s mate. I had sent off a few warriors to deal with the kidnappers and my sister. I watched them take her away along with the rouges that they thought could come and harm my family. Yeah, I took over when our anger mixed, and I knew I had to be the one in charge while Dorian was busy calming down.

“Knox, we need to find her. I can’t live with myself if something happens to our family. We promised to protect them.” “I know, Dorian, and we will. I know where they are, and they are safe right now.” I told Dorian as I shifted into my black wolf form, shaking my fur as I would link a few other guards to come with me so we could get our Luna and Beta female.

When we arrived at my mother-in-law's house, I walked in trying to sniff my mate out when I watched Doctor Charles put a code into a room. That opened up in the wall, showing us a safe space with both girls curled up together, looking at us with relief and worry. I shifted back into Dorian, not giving a damn if I was naked in front of everyone.

I quickly picked up my mate and left the house with the three warriors who had also helped our Luna. We all made it back to the packing house, and I went towards our room, placing my mate on the bed and lying beside her holding her crying self against my chest.

“Shh, your safe now, my love. I’m sorry, I was not there to protect you and our pup.” I whispered in her ear, kissing her head gently. We fell asleep and slept in each other's arms for the rest of the night.
