Noelle’s POV

It has been a few months since I met my mate, and I have now met the beta female and his mate as we met each other over the last few months and mated. I was happy after some time, and currently, I am also collaborating with my mama, who is the chief pack doctor now, as I have started my training and schooling to become a pack doctor myself. My mate was away with Cole, so Chelsea and I stayed behind to keep the pack running while our mates were away from home.

“Hey, girly! Do you want to head into town and go shopping?” “Sure, Chels. Just let me grab my purse, and we can head out.” I hollered back to my best friend and Luna. I grabbed my purse and left the room to head out with Chels and our guards behind us. I know humans see us as some weird royalty or something, but we are just like them. The only difference is we are part animal and part human. Once we got to the mall, I felt something was off, like something terrible was going to happen.

“Chels, I think we should head back now. I feel something bad is going to happen.” I whispered to my friend as we both gave our guards nods. I started scanning the mall before I noticed that a few unrecognizable people were following us. I quickly ran with Chels as we made it outside together, and before we knew what was happening, I felt darkness creep into my vision.

**Aurora’s POV

I had to fight off the kidnappers to protect myself and keep our Luna safe. We were both thrown into the back of the SUV, and I locked eyes with Chels; seeing her wolf was out as well, we both knew we had to get away. But how had they tied us up?

“Jaz, can you hear me?” “Loud and clear, Rory. Our humans are asleep, and we must find a way out of her and away from these people.” “I know, Jaz, and I am trying to think. Wait! I know what to do. Just come close to me, and I can burn our ties off our wrists, and we can jump out of the SUV and make a run for it together. I know a fellow pack is nearby that can help us and contact our mates.” “Alright, let’s do this.” We both cut off our mind links and sat back-to-back as I summoned a small flame to burn away the ties that held us back. Once they were off, we both carefully unlocked the trunk, jumped out of the SUV, and shifted into our animal forms, making a run towards the nearby pack. We were able to make it onto the packed ground, asking them for help after we shifted into our human forms. Unfortunately for us, both Chelsea and Noelle were still in slumber after what they had tried to do to us.

“Thank you, Luna and Beta female; we will inform your mates of your whereabouts, and I will gladly help you get home to your mates right away. Why don’t you both see my pack doctor, and we will leave as soon as I contact them.” “Thank you, Alpha Cains. We appreciate your hospitality and help. We do not know who kidnapped us, but we know they were wolves trying to take us away from our home.” Jaz stated calmly as we both left the room to get checked out to make sure we were both alright.

A few hours later, we finally made it home, and I was exhausted, especially with the news I had about my beta warrior. But first, we need to get our humans to wake up from their slumber so we can rest ourselves. “Aroura!” I turned to see my mate running over to Cole behind him. I knew it was not Dorian; when my name was called, it was Knox, and he did not look happy.

“K-Knox?” “Little vixen, what happened? Are you alright?” I hugged my mate and sobbed into his chest, tired from everything and being away from him.

“Yes, I’m alright. The ones who took us made Chels and Elle sleep, and when we woke up, we had to get away, and I had to protect Jaz and myself.” I whimpered, climbing up his large frame, not wanting to let go of my mate, especially now that we were carrying his pup.

I have to rest so I can help Elle wake up from this slumber and so we can figure out what to do about the ones who tried to kidnap us. Knox held my body close to his as we left everyone for their duties and headed to our room.

“Shh, baby girl. Rest now; I’m not letting you go now. I need to protect my family, and we will talk more about our pup in the morning.” Knox whispered to me, kissing my head as he laid us both down on the bed and cuddled together. I closed my eyes, knowing Elle would be awake first thing in the morning.

“Good night, Knox.” Goodnight, my sweet angel.” I smiled in my sleep, hearing his deep voice telling me goodnight.
