*Meadow*
I start to recover some consciousness and I stretch my arms. I end up touching a wall and it’s cold. I hear whispers and my mind focuses. My wolf is alert and tense.
“Meadow? Are you waking up?” I hear Caly’s voice.
Caly, I heard her before I fainted. And I fainted when I was visiting my mother. Now I remember, Lucifer was there. My eyes snap open and I sit quickly. I don’t recognize where I am, but I meet Caly’s worried eyes. “What happened?”
She sighs and nods at me. Only then I look around and see Amra, serious and distant, as well as Lucifer. I gasp; he is trapped in some sort of entanglement and this has embraced him tightly. Caly’s voice brings my attention back to her. “I was trying to reach to you… Amra felt you were in danger… We couldn’t find you! He had to use a lot of his powers to find you…”
I sigh and shake my head, Lucifer has his eyes closed and is stone still, but I feel he is aware of what we are talking about. “I needed time and space… I was visiting my mother’s grave… Why do you have him locked?”
Amra gives a step closer. “He is danger personified.”
I shake my head. “He wasn’t there to harm me. And I met him before…”
Amra’s eyes focus on me for the first time, and Caly’s hand takes mine and squeezes it. “You met before? How? When?”
I nod at her, then look around some more. “Where is Alex?” Caly turns to look at Amra and he barely even blinked. “Where is he?!” I ask as I let go of Caly’s hand and I stand. “You better start explaining what is happening before I do something stupid…” Great, now my own threats are very ridiculous.
Caly stands with both hands up and carefully approaching me. “He is with our son, and they are not too far…” She sighs, showing a bit of frustration. “I am sure this is a big misunderstanding…”
Amra shakes his head. “It can’t be, he has been the source of many evils. His presence is not a good omen.”
“For the first time, I think I am beginning to not like you, Amra. He was the one who rescued me when the Necromancers trapped me inside my own mind. I was asleep and had forgotten who I was… He reminded me who I was and told me how to fight Ignicious…” I tell him without hesitation. “Now bring me Alex and let him go, he has been more honest to me than you two.”
Caly frowns. “What do you mean by that?”
I sigh and shake my head, I shouldn’t have said that probably, but I always say what I think. “Don’t take me for a fool, You were human once Caly, and so was I. I could see there was something happening back in the meeting after your son arrived… you all behaved in a way I knew you were hiding something… our relationship is based on trust, a trust I can’t seem to be having with you,” I finish. “It is better to be honest and upfront from the start, as I don’t know any other way to be”. I need to be as clear as possible. ‘Alex… can you hear me? Where are you? Are you ok?’ I send on my own.
‘Luna, I am close to you, but they told me they needed to have a word with you and Seth has been keeping me busy. I am ok. Are you ok? What is happening?’ He says to me nervously.
‘A very strange situation that I hope we can solve. Or else I am going to have to reach Caleb…’ I say back.
“It seems that I was right. Amra… he is not presenting any danger…” Caly offers to her husband.
I nod. “Yes, now let him go, please… He was about to give me information… I think he knows who is behind our attacks…”
Caly nods at me and turns around to let him go. I see her lift her hand but the vines suddenly break and Lucifer opens his eyes, shaking slightly to let the debris fall from him. I take it by Caly’s gasp that he did it on his own.
“Your vines can’t hold my kind of power,” He says to her without emotion. These angels and their apparent lack of emotions. I swear they are beginning to annoy me.
“You do not address to my Asteria in that way. Traitor,” Amra says defiantly as he stands in front of Caly.
“Will you all stop arguing!” I scream frustrated. Amra frowns more and takes Caly’s hand. This is a clear sign that he is going to do something, and I panic. He is no simple Angel. “Amra… he saved me, do you understand that? Why would he do that if he didn’t have good intentions?”
He stays still, I can see him analyzing the situation. I relax more at this, as it is a sign he is not going to do anything for the moment. “Amra, let’s hear what he has to say…” added Caly.
I nod at her, the reason why we have gotten along well in the past was that we both like to think before acting. “Lucifer, you helped me back then, why?”
He looks at me and I see the same pale and sad blue eyes that surprised me that day over 20 years ago. “I was tired of watching them win… I did not enjoy watching all of you suffer.”
Amra’s face did not change at all. “Why then, why not before?” He says to him in a cold tone.
“Because they were close, so close to losing,” He says as he looks back at me.
“I find that hard to believe. They are so strong, Caleb is so powerful,” Caly adds.
“But they were going to awake the Dragon in the wrong time,” He responds. “He was going to lose his temper while having her unconscious.”
And I nod. I understand perfectly what he says. “I believe him. Caleb would have lost his temper at the sight of what they were doing to me,” I sighed. “I think you would relate to that too Amra.”
Amra nods to me then looks back at him. “Why do you care?”
“I did my wrong things a long time ago. One can regret what one has done. And what I did has no forgiveness under our Father’s eyes. I have come to understand and accept that. But I can also choose who to help if I want to,” He says almost sorrowly.
“I think there is more, but you are telling the truth,” Caly says.
“I chose to believe him. And I would like to know what do you know about the attempts against us?” I ask as I come closer.
Amra stands next to Caly and they both keep silent as they wait for his answer. I want his truth as much as I want his help.

I managed to keep both Sol and Ian quiet about all this new mate thing to our parents. At least for now. But I need to talk to my uncle and aunt as soon as possible. I just need to keep some things clear with my girls first. ‘My’ girls, interesting. I now call them mine.
“What worries you, Zana? Speak your mind to me please,” I ask her. She is the shyest of them both, and I worry about how she is taking all of this.
She looks at me with wide eyes. “I don’t know… I am not sure… of what you expect from us… from me…”
I sigh and give her a smile. “I am still trying to understand what is this that I am feeling… but I know all I want is to be close to you and Dana… above all else” I admit as I walk closer to her, carefully.
She is not fully convinced, but she has no choice. Unless she decides to reject me, which I doubt she will. But I can’t help but think of how much I want to erase her sadness and nervousness. “And you want to be… you know… with us both?”
I chuckle and reach for her hand. “I want to get to know you more, both together as we go out… and also separately… I know you two are so different… I want to give you both your own time and space…”
She gives me a smile that takes my breath away. I am beginning to like the way I feel with her. I can’t wait to explore this more.
Finally, Dana comes back with uncle Gideon and aunt Agape. I smile at them and offer them a seat. “Would you mind telling us what is so important that we had to leave the Command Center?” uncle asks.
I chuckle, more nervous than anything. “I am sorry, uncle. Aunt, I am sorry to both of you,” I start and see Dana frowning. s**t, I am doing this wrong. “But this is important too…” I try to make it better. “As you know, both Zana and Dana have just arrived…”
Aunt Agape nods and smiles at her daughters. “Yes, my babies have arrived…”
“Well, as soon as they got here, something happened…” I start and start to scratch my head as I think on the words to use. “I will just say it. Uncle, aunt, we have discovered that both Zana and Dana are my mates…”
Silence.
I look at my aunt, who seems to be speechless, and I immediately rush to her and kneel at her feet. Her eyes widen. “I promise to take care of them, aunt. I vow to give my life to them both… I will never hurt them… I…”
“Stop it, son,” I hear uncle’s voice and I look at him smiling. “We know… we know you will be nothing but honorable, loyal and protective to our daughters…”
I smile, looking back at my aunt, and she has tears in her eyes. “Aunty, please don’t cry…”
She shakes her head and then pulls me to a hug. “Silly boy… I am just a bit shocked… that is all… I was not expecting both of my daughters to mate one man… but if the Goddess so wishes it, then I believe I am blessed the one she has chosen is you…”
I see Dana stand next to her sister, and they both smile at me. I can do this. I can lead our pack with my two mates. I can make them happy as I see they will make me happy too. Thank you, Goddess. You are wise.
