When Zen finally got back to the Patterson’s house she greeted them and went straight to her room. She spent the rest of the day curled up on her bed, scrolling through newspapers.
Calum called her a few times, which made her realize that she had screwed up the command again. Specifically saying that he couldn’t message her, instead contacting her at all. Clever boy found the loophole and he didn’t even know it.
She put her phone on silent and tried to ignore him, but after every single call he would leave her a voicemail and she entertained herself by listening to them as they popped up.
