Calum ran after Zen, screaming for her to stop. As he reached her he grabbed her arm and she halted, turning to him with such fury in her eyes that he immediately released her. “You want me to tell you the truth?” She spat, making him tense.
His eyes sparked with a mixture of shock and fear. Zen relished it, if he was going to be afraid of her then she would give him something to fear. She would be that angelic monster that roamed the landscape of his nightmares.
