Neil walked into town and caught a ride back to headquarters on a tour wagon with an empty seat. That meant the trip would take longer as the wagon, full of paying customers, would slowly wind its way to Neil’s destination, stopping along the route as the tour guide gave information on points of interest.
That was fine with Neil. He needed time to process what Rolf had just told him. Now Neil knew the whole story.
