Chapter 6 Neil sat on the loveseat in his room. He had just finished a shower, was barefoot, and dressed only in sweat pants. He was reading a long email from Jordan. Jordan sent at least one every day. They were filled with trivial news, ranging from what he’d had for breakfast to the latest gossip at the clinic where he still worked as a vet tech. When Neil reached the end of the message he shook his head and sighed. The plan doesn’t seem to be working. Maybe I’m encouraging him by writing too much when I answer his emails. Neil had included lots of information about his experiences on the island in his responses.
