CHAPTER TEN
Keira arrived at the office bright and early the next day, as her new schedule demanded. After speaking to Cristiano last night, she’d ended up falling asleep in front of the TV on her new couch, and consequently her back felt even worse than it had when she’d been sleeping on just a mattress. She’d barely slept at all with, her mind too busy making sense of all the changes in her life to let her properly rest. The only saving grace was that her coffee man, Bob, had opened early today just in order to provide her with a free coffee, which she drained during her journey on the subway.
