CHAPTER NINE Keira felt a surge of relief as she rounded the corner and saw her apartment come into view. The day was finally over. It had been amongst one of the strangest, most memorable of her life. As she drew closer to her home, she noticed a delivery van outside, and remembered that her new furniture was being delivered. She hurried to the door to let the deliverers inside. With a grin, Keira watched as her small apartment was filled with her new couch and bed, and, most importantly, the writing desk. It looked beautiful underneath the painting of Sweden, and just as she’d imagined. It was a far cry from Bryn’s ultra-modern vision but it was exactly what she wanted.
