"Good morning, mummy." Liam greeted as he walked into the kitchen.
Susan had taken a day off to take her daughter to the hospital. She has fever and I insisted she takes all the time she needed to take care of her. I mean, our kids comes first, right?
So it's just myself and Liam in this big house.
"Morning,baby." I beamed, as I gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Did you sleep well?" I ask, a bit skeptical.
"Yes, mommy." He seemed okay now, doesn't look like he's sulking and most notably he's not avoiding eye contact.
Throughout this week, I've bought his favorite chocolate, candy and ice cream and he said he didn't want it. When I tried to persuade him, he threw the candy away.
I yelled at him frustratingly. And he ran up to his room, refusing to speak to me.
