"Congratulations Tiff, you're four weeks pregnant,"

The news of her pregnancy came as a shock to her, not when Bill's Mom called her barren and all sorts of names for not giving Bill an heir.

Getting married to Bill is one thing, staying married is another.

Bill and his controlling mother made life unbearable for Tiffany but she was ready to endure.

She loved him to a fault, maybe she shouldn't have.

Of course Bill doesn't know about the pregnancy yet, the news was still fresh, barely a few hours old.

Five years of what was far from blissful, she walked in on Bill making out with her step-sister on their matrimonial bed!

Unperturbed, Bill presented her with a divorce paper.

Four years later, she's back in the country as a billionaire and a business guru.

Bill was at the verge of losing his family business and the only person that will save him is….

In the boardroom, her husband pleaded frustratingly.

"Please save my family's fortune wifey,"

"Ex-wife!" she corrected venomously.

She wants revenge….but at what cost?

Tiffany's POV. It was the eve of my wedding anniversary, I walked out of the flower shop, clinging to the bouquet of rose flowers, and a small gift bag, my heart racing as Doctor Brenda's words echoed in my head. "Congratulations Tiff, you're four weeks pregnant," The news of my pregnancy came as a shock to me, not when Bill's Mom called me barren and all sorts of names for not giving Bill an heir throughout the five years we've been married. "Oh, really?" I try to sound upbeat but I'm not really feeling it, I've always wanted to conceive, at least to prove Rebecca, Bill's Mom wrong that I was capable of carrying my own child. "Can you not tell Bill about this?" I asked. Brenda rolled her eyes at me. "Why Tiff? Bill would be so happy," she opposed. "I know, I just want to surprise him, it's our anniversary today," I breathed, offering a small smile. "Okay then, and congrats on your anniversary, Tiff," Brenda retorted, her tone calm and understanding. I'm supposed to be happy about this great news, right? But then how can I raise a child with Bill, when he's been nothing but a pain in my ass! For obvious reasons, Bill never defended me against his mother. It has always been like that since I said "I do" to him. It was as if my entire existence never mattered to Bill and his Mom. How can they even treat me well? When my father and my greedy stepmom sold me out to the Castillo family as their son's bride! "Leave the road bitchh!" I heard the voice of an angry lady honking her car, her face contorted with rage. That seemed to cut through my thoughts, jerking me back to reality. Shitt! I didn't realize I was lost in thought in the middle of the road for fuckks sake! "I'm sorry," I mouthed quickly, walking faster to my car, ignoring the tantrums she was throwing at me. I let out a few deep breaths as I entered my car, carefully placing the flower bouquet and the gift bag in the backseat of the car. It's my fifth anniversary. Even though Bill has treated me like crap all these years, I still loved him and always anticipated our anniversary. It's been five years of something far from blissful, five years of being married to the only man I've ever loved. I looked at the flowers, warmth spread along my body, as my lips curled into a small smile. This night should be special, with the news of my pregnancy. I'm sure Bill would treat me better. After all, I'm carrying the heir to Castillo fortune. This has to be Bill's best anniversary gift ever! I started the ignition and drove off, my heart racing as I drove nearer to our mansion. I'm eager to tell Bill that we have a baby on the way because that might actually be the solution to my misery all these years. I used one of my hands to stroke my stomach lovingly, and an indescribable warmth washed over me. Quickly, I parked the car in the garage and stepped down, picking the flower and the gift bag from the car. I had cooked varieties of foods and decorated our bedroom with flowers and candles for our big day. My eyes caught a glimpse of Bill's car, parked at the other end of the garage. This means only one thing. Bill is home! Excitedly, I began to walk towards our mansion, making sure I was still with the test result. "Welcome home, Madame Tiffany," Mrs Jones greeted, looking a bit distressed. Noticing the disturbed look on her face, I stepped in sharply. "Mrs Jones? Are you okay?" I inquired, my gaze fixed on her. "Yes, Madam," she said. "You look nervous. Now, that's not okay," I insisted. "I'm just stressed. That's all Madame," she cut in sharply. "Can I help you with that?" She asked dismissively. Seeing she wasn't ready to talk about what was disturbing her, I dropped it. "No, you don't have to worry. Hope everything is set?" I asked. She nodded approvingly. "Where's my husband?" "In the– room," she stuttered, her eyes flickering slightly. "Okay, that would be all," I retorted, making my way upstairs, my heart racing rapidly in excitement. I heard Mrs Jones calling after me faintly. "You may retire for today, Mrs Jones. You need all the rest you can get," I hollered, not stopping and not turning back. Halfway up the staircase, I stopped at my pace as I heard some sound coming from our bedroom. Not just any sound, the sound of a woman moaning! My head spun around as my heart raced rapidly, my legs got heavier with each step I took. Trying so hard to steady my breath. Bill is definitely not alone. Who's with Bill in our matrimonial room? I tried to convince myself that I probably didn't hear well. But no, the lady kept screaming in ecstasy. Curiously, I walked to the door and cracked it open. My jaws dropped, my eyes widened in shock as I saw Bill grinding Sheila like his life depended on it! Shocked, the flower and the test result slipped out of my hands, landing on the floor. "Bill! Sheila!" I yelled, making Bill split from Sheila, a smug smirk plastered on his face. "How could you, Bill! How could you bring another woman into our matrimonial bed, on our anniversary night?" I said, letting the tears that had built up in my eyes stroll down freely. "And not just any woman but my step-sister, Bill! How low can you go?" I asked with tears. Bill doesn't look sorry, rather he snickered, getting up from the bed and opening the drawer. "Stop with the BS, Tiffany. I don't owe you any explanation. So, save it!" He blurted like I was some piece of shitt that was not worth his time, he picked up a brown envelope from the drawer and walked towards me, giving me a disgusted look. "Oh, please. Wipe those manipulative tears off your face, Tiff. You're not any better, quit the pretense already," he groaned, throwing the envelope at me. What does he even mean by that? The whole time, Sheila said nothing! She remained silent watching everything unfold, like the devil she is. A shameless b***h! "What's this?" I asked, returning my gaze to Bill, who kept a straight face. Rather than replying to me, he walked over to Sheila. "Come here baby," he said, his tone calm and inviting, as he wrapped his hand around her waist. I see Bill's blue eyes, which are usually sharp and piercing, stare at Sheila with so much warmth flickering in his eyes. He let out a taunting smile and claimed her lips in a passionate kiss, not minding that I was right in front of them! How disrespectful! My heart bleeds, Bill has no regard whatsoever for me as his wife and that's saddening! Reluctantly I picked up the envelope, I clenched onto it, feeling a mix of anger and helplessness as I opened it. I placed my hand on my chest, trying to steady my racing breath as my eyes sharply landed on the words, boldly written on the letter. Then it dawned on me! "Bill had filed for a divorce!"
