"Bill. What a coincidence!" Sheila exclaimed but I know it's just a front.
I could see right through her surprise facade.
"Is it?" I reply, my tone dripping with a hint of sarcasm.
Her smile doesn't falter. "Oh, come off it, Bill. Aren't you happy to see me? Hey, Lance and Adrian." She greets, shifting her gaze to them. "Don't mind if I join you both. Do you?"
Adrian eyes me curiously, hesitating for a second before he offers a small smile. "Uhmm, sure you can." he says.
