Sharpness bloomed across the skin of Mason’s thumb and he glanced down to find a red line welling blood across the meat of it. The sigh managed to come out more a chuckle of amusement than exasperation. Figured. And Mason would blame his inability to be around a beautiful man without losing his head, but this wasn’t his first rodeo. Jack had him snared in a way he couldn’t describe if his life depended on it. Mason shook his head. He decided to just enjoy the day in Jack’s company and let the endless swirl of his chaotic emotions take a back seat for a while.
