Queenie’s heart aches in pain, as she recalled coming to this café often despite not liking the food in order to get closer to Wesley.
They ordered their respective meals, Wesley and Rainie displayed their affection publicly as though Queenie wasn’t around, making her feel uncomfortable.
‘What do you want?’ Wesley asked, halfway through their meal.
‘I’ll tell you after the meal…’ Queenie said.
‘Better not play a fool of me.’ He warned her.
‘How could I do that…’ Queenie said, while mumbling that she loves him.
Wesley’s heart softened when he saw Queenie’s depressed look, so he decided to look a way.
After the meal, Queenie was finding some way to break the news about her pregnancy to Wesley without letting Rainie know.
‘Queenie, I suggest that you just sign the divorce agreement, then you’ll be free from this torment. It’s better for the three of us. How could you expect a man that hates you to love you? ’ Rainie said.
Her words slapped Queenie back to reality.
‘Enough! The accident… it wasn’t even me!’
‘Who’d believe you?’ Rainie asked, while smiling sinisterly.
Queenie held her tears, as she tried to compose herself.
Rainie stood up out of a sudden, Queenie looked at her in shock, wondering if she wasn’t afraid that Wesley might see her when he comes back.
Then she dropped on the floor.
‘Rainie!’ Queenie yelled in horror, and Wesley came back just in time to see what happened.
He was so mad, he raised his hand and wanted to slap Queenie, but he held back eventually.
‘If I said, it has nothing to do with me, would you believe me?’ Queenie asked in despair.
‘Queenie, how I wished that the person who was hit by the car 3 years ago, was you.’ Wesley said coldly, though his voice was full of anger.
Queenie’s eyes filled with tears, as Wesley carried Rainie back to the car.
‘If anything happens to her baby, you’ll pay with your life!’ Wesley said.
What…? Rainie’s pregnant too?
