          I shouldn't have accepted to be Edward’s bell girl. These before few days have been hell for me. Annabel was able to help me with taking down notes and the assignments but the real hell was when we were in school.

I have to get his lunch ready and wait for him to come before going to get mine. Sometimes, I don't even get a chance to take my lunch because he'll send me a text message telling me to go get drinks for him and his b***h.

          Annabel wanted to beat the crap out of him and his b***h but I told her that it will only lead to a war between our two packs. Besides, she won't be able to defeat an Alpha.

What annoyed me most is the fact that my stupid brother Scott wouldn't do anything about it, he rather said it's my punishment for agreeing to sign something so dreadful.

        Who am I to blame him? What was I expecting from him? I brought this upon myself

      I should be mad and angry with Edward, instead, I find myself falling deeper into the one-sided love I have for him.

     Being close to him was a dream come through. Though he makes me go through hell daily, every night I still couldn't wait to wake up the next morning and wait for him to come so that I can walk by his side. Though I was just the bell girl, it meant something to me, it meant a whole lot and I looked forward to it every day.

          “Hey did you hear what I just said right now?” Edward asked.

 I stared dumbfounded at him cause I was lost in thoughts and didn't hear a thing he had said.

          “No, I am sorry. I got lost along the line. What were you saying?” I asked.

        “I said I don't want to eat from the school cafeteria today, I want something different. So what's it gonna be?”

       “You tell me because I don't know what to do here,” I said folding my hands on my chest.

      “I want you to go get something for me outside the school.” He declared with a smirk.

       “Are you nuts? That's like detention and you know very well that today is Mason’s birthday party and I have gone shopping for it already and you expect me to go out and get detention. Tell me what's the point of going through hell just to get a detention.” I raised my voice at him angrily.

       “So it's a no from you?" He paused looking into my eyes. "Remember our agreement. If you say no to me I'll have no choice but to report you to your mother, telling her you bullied me into  I accepted your apology.” He said smirking.

      “Yeah right, like a little harmless girl like me can bully a whole Alpha like you. Do you think she's ever going to believe that crap? You know what? I am done, you can go tell her.” I concluded officially done with his s**t.

   I was about to walk away when he called out to me. "Rebecca."

      “I have some dirty secret about you that your brother showed me and I bet the whole school would love to see it.” He threatened.

      “Another of your dirty tricks, I doubt it will work on me,” I replied turning around to face him.

      “Oh, it will.” He assured showing me pictures on his phone. Some were of me in lingerie, others of me with a green face mask and my hair in a crazy updo. “I bet this will bring a lot of hot topics to the school, all I need to do is press send and everybody will have a copy of it.”

       “Fine, Fine, Fine! what do you want to eat? Don’t just do anything stupid.” I said resigning to my fate.

       “Fries and chicken.” He ordered with a big grin on his face placing the phone back into his pocket.

  I'm done for.

        “You are sending me out of the school for just fries and chicken, you jerk,” I said stretching my hand forward. “Give me cash or your credit card.”

 He handled his credit card over to me.

    I walked out of the school hoping I won't get caught and be held in detention for three straight hours, which would make me miss the party. Hearing about it from Scott is like trying to hang yourself with a rope.

   I went to a cafe close by and waited in the long queue for like ten minutes before it finally got to my turn. Placing my orders, I waited a little bit for them to package them and when they were done, I took the orders from them and checking the time I found out that lunch break was over.

    Shoot this is going to be detention for sure.

  There is no way I was going to escape this because the disciplinary teacher was always at the school hallway waiting for students who won't get to class on time.

  I sneaked into the school gate and walked slowly through the school hallway, checking if the coast was clear and when I saw that it was clear I took to my heels.

 I was about to open the door to my classroom heaving a sigh of relief when I heard someone’s voice.

     “Stop right there student, why are you just coming in now and where are you coming from?” yelled the disciplinary teacher from behind.

         “I am sorry, I went to use the restroom,” I lied.

  Fool, how can you say something like that with packaged food right in your hands. It clearly states that it's from outside the school premises.

 Next time Rebecca Rain comes up with a better excuse.

         “I see with packed food, that is clearly not from the school cafeteria. Did you go outside the school premises?” He asked.

There was no way I could deny something like this when I was caught red-handed.

        “Yes sir, I am truly sorry sir.”

        “Detention it is for you after school."  He said with a tone of finality.

        “Please Mr. Skyler, can't you just for today pretend that you didn't see me, I haven't broken any rules before. This is my first time, can you just play a blind eye towards me please.” I cried pleading to him.

       “Sorry about that miss Rebecca, rules are rules, rules are meant to be obeyed and not broken. Your detention after school is compulsory, don't make me look for you.” He said walking away.

 I opened the door to the classroom and went straight to where Edward was, throwing the packed food at his desk slamming my hands hard on it.

        “Thanks to you Mr hotshot, I got a detention for sneaking out of school, not only will it appear on my results, but I also get to miss Mason’s birthday party. Thank you very much, sir” I barked angrily at him walking up to my seat.

         “Hey I didn't see you during lunch, where did you go?” asked Annabel.

         “Getting myself a detention,” I replied.

         “How, what happened?” she asked.

 I told her everything that transpired between Edward Mr. Skyler and me

         “So you really going to miss the party?” asked Annabel

       “Yeah, that's why I want you to be my eyes and ears. Be sure to tell me everything that happened there okay? I rather hear it from you than from Scott.” I said and we both laughed.

  When the final bell rang for the closing of school hours, everybody left for their various houses except me.

 I was busy packing my books and moving to the classroom reserved for detention only.

          “What are you doing here,” I asked Edward the moment I saw him coming into the room meant for detention students and sitting down on a seat close to me

         “I've been detained too, please let's just read quietly and leave here as soon as possible.” He said.

 We decided to keep quiet during the detection. I bet he is super happy about me missing the amazing party.

I can't believe I am going to miss the party of the year thanks to this jackass who ruined the day for me.
