Episode 7 : A new concubine?

" Vamp! " I exclaimed as relief wash over me. I wrapped my hands around his neck and Lean over in joy.

As usual vamp took me Into his embrace tenderly. I could feel the warmth coming from him to me.the love and compassion. His hands rub my back for some seconds before resting around my waist.

" I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry you poor thing. I never know that would happens. How I wish I never left the castle " He was murmuring into my hair.

I pulled back after a while to stare into his blue eyes. It is sparkling and beautiful. The care I saw in it sooth me like never before and I giggles.

" I'm fine. Canis saved my life and he invited me into his home "

" You are not fine. I could feel your sadness " He replied with a frown. " Where... Is your mother's body? "

At his question I gulped down and look away for sometime. Vamp waited for me to steady my emotions. He is just so supportive and understanding.

" Canis takes care of it. I am fine, really. I never know your brother would be so accomodating. I will forever be grateful for his help "

" Stop feeling indebted to him. it makes me jealous " Vamp mutters, looking away with a small frown which he wiped off with a sigh.

He turn to me and losses his hands around my waist but caught my wrist in the process. He is tender and truthful.

" Since everything has been taken care of, you don't need to be here anymore. Follow me, let's go to.. "

I stood my ground as Vamp made to pull me out. He turn with a look of confusion in his face.

" What is it? Let's go " he urged but I shook my head in the negative.

" I think Canis should be informed before hand Vamp "

" Why? Is he your guardian angel now? " He asked sarcastically. I could hear the hint of anger in his voice and his eyes begining to glow. " Canis do not care whether you leave or not. He only cares about himself "

" You will be in the biggest trouble if I informed dad you are badmouthing me behind my back " Canis's voice boom from behind me and I shivers slightly.

I turn slowly to see Canis standing at the entrance of his domain. A smirk playing at the corner of his lips as he glare at his brother, still.

I could almost feel the hostility in the air. The enmity between the two bouncing back and forth.

I shared glances between the two princes and for the first time I realized they are enemies. By their glare I could tell they both have personal unfinished business.

" Uh... I think we should forget about what happened. I will try to find my way out of the castle now. Thanks a lot for helping me and..."

" Once you entered the castle there is no going back " The two young men announced in unison and I gulped.

" I told you already before you come here Azure. No going out " Vamp finished and I left my mouth agape.

There is no way I would live in the castle with both the men all at once. It will be a disaster.

In panicked I straightened my long hair and blew out a long breathe.

" I don't want to live in the castle " the words of frustration fell out before I could stop it.

" It's not that bad. You will have me at your corner all of time " Vamp said but Canis scoffed.

" Not all the time actually. You should keep quiet before making empty promises "

" Damn you Lupus. How dare you.. "

Instantly I get between the two and stretched my hands to stop them from getting physical.

" You both should please stop " I turn to Vamp and smile at him. He knows me better, at least. " Please Vamp. Can you listen for my sake? Just leave. I will come for you later. I got nowhere else's to go anyway "

The vampire prince stare at me for a longer time. By his look I know he do not want to grant me that request but after some hesitation he nodded.

" Take care of yourself and whispers my name if you need me " with those words he walk off, disappearing from my sight later.

Canis grunted once after vamp left them he goes into the house. I stood still under the dark sky, many thoughts running through my tired mind.

I finally heave a sigh and walk into the living room. I took my seat on the couch and lean back.

Everything about Canis's room is of leisure and comfort. I tried to closed my eyes for some moment but an incoming footsteps jerk me up.

I turn to see Canis fully dressed this time. His hair combed beautifully.

" You are stepping out? " I asked softly and he smiles at me.

" My tutor is here. We have to visit him "

" We? "

" Lamia and I "

I frown in confusion but then couldn't control the smile that came after.

" I love how you calm him Lamia and he addressed you as Lupus. You both are supposed to ... "

" Stay indoor. I will be back soon " He interrupted me curtly and I shivers.

Canis just put me in my place.

What do I even know of ? Why would a lowly Omega tried to even advised the formidable princes?

" I'm sorry Canis. I don't mean to pry "

" I won't be able to hear your Call once I step out so stay away from trouble till I'm back "

Canis left me in his home and I watched as he zoom off. Why won't he overheard my cry if I yelled? I asked myself but shrugged since I got no answer.

Everything about the castle is full of mysteries anyway. I lean back again just as I have done earlier.

This fine I closed my eyes to relax, trying to think about what the future holds for me but then slumber took over me and I fell asleep.

The bustles awake me and I was forced to get up on my feet. My body hurts and tired.

" What the hell is an omega doing here? "

I was jerked completely back to reality by this question. I look up to see Erica sneering at me. Elegantly dressed just as earlier with his two Omega maids behind her.

I know things won't go well at all. My host has already left so i got no backup.

" Uh.. Canis invited me ..in "

" What? You dare addressed him by his name? He is your prince. How dare you? "

I have forgotten entirely that I shouldn't address canis by his name. I bowed slightly in apology and I said.

" I mean prince Canis invited me in "

" Well " Erica replied with a smirk. " He helped you out of pity. My man has always been generous to slaves and lowly Omegas. Since he helped saving your pathetic life you should repay him by serving me then "

I was stunned by her new request. My face involuntarily give way to a frown and I gritted my teeth.

" I won't be anyone's slave. You are right, I am an Omega and I am indebted to Prince Canis. I will repay him directly. I will serve him if he wants. I will die for him if he wishes and I will cherish him forever but..."

I was lost in my words that I failed to notice Erica's Palm flashing. She face slapped me in a jiffy and I was dazed.

Before I could decipher what happens I found myself on the marble floor. Blood seeping from the corner of my lips.

" No one dare cherish Canis. No one dares claim him. I am his only woman and I will forever BE! " That last word comes with Erica stomping me.

Just then a gasp escaped her mouth and I heard her says.

" Oh my dress. Can you believe the lowly Omega dare put on my dress? " A bark of laughter follows. " Strip her! "

Swiftly her two maids descend on me, tearing off the dress I put on but as luck would have it the door opens immediately and Canis appears in the doorway.

A frown laced on his face. At least I am excited that he isn't in support with cruelty.

" You must have gone nut Erica. What the hell is going on here? " He thundered angrily.

" Just what should be going on " She turns to him with a sober expression. " I can't believe you accepted this lowly slave into your home Prince Canis. I thought you.."

" Keep your thoughts to yourself and use the door with your two stooges " He interrupted fiercely.

Canis walks into the room more further and bent down to help me up. I accepted his Palm which he extended but at that moment Erica threatened.

" I will inform your father about the secret Canis "

Upon hearing this canis's hand loosen and he dumped me on the floor, to my awe.

He set his jaw at that moment and straighten up. Slowly he looks at Erica and gulped.

" I'm sorry " He mutters and I shivers in shock. No doubt about it, Erica has an invisible leash around Canis's neck. What is it?

" It's okay my love " She responded smoothly. Her hands covering his cheek tenderly. Canis didn't react to Erica's advances and I could see he is annoyed. His anger seeping but there is nothing he could do.

Erica wrapped her hands around Canis's neck and Lean over to kiss him. I had to look away as my heart took to the jealousy path.

The smirking came next and I wish I was deaf at that moment.

" Go in. I will join you soon Erica " Canis instructed but the lady would have none of it.

" Why? Why the rush. I am still dealing with this ingrate Prince Canis. She dares refuse to serve me when I asked nicely. What do you think should be her punishment for disobeying your woman? "

He was being forced. I could see the vein visible at the nape of his neck. He didn't want to say it but there is no going back.

Slowly Canis turn and look down at me. His eyes now distance. His jaw setting. His stance cold.

" She should be wiped publicly "

" No no. That is too Merciful. Don't you think my Love. How about we make her the king's concubine? After all she is a lowly slave anyway. I heard the king is hosting a festival on the next morrow to celebrate his fifth year on the throne. I will present him with this omega. I am sure he will be glad. Right? "

" Do you have to be that Cruel? " Canis asked almost helplessly. However he didn't wait for reply. " Do whatever you want with her. I have nothing to do with her anyway "

Canis left the living room that moment and disappear into his room. This time I was distraught. What did I just overheard? Will I seriously be mated to the king? King Alaric of all men?

No! A very bid no. I will pierce his heart before I could lay with him. Then I remembered my status. Being nothing more than an omega, my shoulder sagged frustratedly.
