Chapter 04

Dylan who managed to escape from Authorities and managed to get down from the tree arrives to a town from the forest and far away from the crime scene.

He notices a store is opened just right opposite to him, he runs to the store and proceeds inside where he walks to the food section and grabs as many snacks and foods he could carry, he then carries it to the cashier and drops it in the counter.

"Just make it quick, I don't have much time." said Dylan to the cashier.

"Okay then, that's a lot of snacks." replied the cashier. "Well, I am on the diet these days." said Dylan. Just then the cashier begins to notices Dylan's appearance and becomes concerned. "Are you okay?" asked the cashier.

"Yeah, yeah of course I'm fine, why, why do you ask?" asked Dylan. "Nothing it's just... You look like you just jumped out of the building." asked the cashier. Dylan begins to chuckles at the cashier's comment.

"Maybe I just did, we may never know do we?" said Dylan with a sarcastic tone. "Really? I bet." replied the cashier as she checks out the items.

"That will be 14.67$." said the cashier.

"Huh... okay (he hands over 15$) "keep the change." said Dylan. “Thank you for shopping at Mini-Mart 24, and you need a change of clothes." said the cashier as she hands over the items.

"Yup, noted Ma’am." said Dylan as he proceeds to walk out of the store, just then he remembers something turns back to the cashier. "Can I... make a phone call?" asked Dylan.

Moments pass as Bennett arrives near the store in his car while Dylan who was waiting outside with his items walks to him. "Hi, you came." said Dylan. "Just get in." replied Bennett.

Dylan begins to get into the car along with the items he purchased, he keeps the items in the back and turns front, and Bennett then begins to reverse and proceeds through the road.

"So, how is...” said Dylan who was interrupted by Bennett. “What were you thinking? I told you from the start, those guys are going to get you killed, but you never gave it a guess, even for a second did you?" asked Bennett.

"Look, I'm sorry, I am sorry, it's over now, okay?" said Dylan. "I know it's a tough time, and you being in a rough spot, especially after losing your mother but that doesn't give you the right to.." said Bennett. "Yeah, I know, but it is over okay?" said Dylan.

 Dylan then turns on the radio on the car.

"Meanwhile the Anti Criminal Special Task Force reported that the hostages on UN healthcare building has been successfully rescued, it has been also confirmed that the criminals responsible for this atrocious act are being apprehended." said the reporter through the radio.

"That's just great." said Dylan who then turns off the radio. Just then Bennett reached Dylan's house.

"Here it is, home sweet home, try not to get yourself killed next time, okay?" said Bennett. Dylan takes his stuff and gets out of the car.

"I will be fine, see you next week." replied Dylan, "Alright, take care." said Bennett as he drives away.

 Dylan then proceeds towards his home and opens the door. He then heads inside and shuts the door locking it, he keeps the stuff at the hallway and heads to the stairs and in to the room and heads straight for bed.

"You...must…find him, he betrayed…us.... WAKE UP." Immediately he wakes up from bed only to find out it's a nightmare, just then he notices his alarm rings, he thinks to himself about the dream but drops it off thinking it must have been a weird trauma from the injuries.

He then proceeds to the bathroom and brushes and then he takes a bath and then gets dressed and heads out to the kitchen to eat breakfast,

Then he takes one of the items he bought from the store, stores it in the oven, and activates the oven as usual.

just then he watches the face of Arthur in the news stating about the situation that occurred last week, a 'ting' sound comes from the oven and he ignores the news and wears a pair of gloves opens the oven.

Dylan then takes the item, he then keeps it at the table, and he removes the gloves, washes his hands and begins to eat the food after opening it.

Then gets out of the house and shuts it, locking it, then he puts the key inside his pocket and heads out. He then proceeds to walk as usual while listening to music.

As he proceeds he enjoyed the beautiful weather for a moment, but gets interrupted when he hears bus horns from the opposite side, Dylan then speeds up by going through a canon way and finally reaches the Academy Of Union, he then begins to proceed in.

As he heads inside, he walks to his locker as usual, there were a few kids talking every here and there but he slips through and reaches his locker, then he takes the books and keeps the bag inside, just then he slowly turns behind. He notices Chrissy and her friends are chatting, she notices him and looks at him, quickly Dylan turns back, he gets frightened and quickly prepares to leave but is surprisingly stopped by Mike, Dylan's Childhood friend.

"Shit." mumbles Dylan to himself.

"Whoa! Relax man." replies Mike. "Oh, it's you." said Dylan.

"Were you expecting someone else?" asked Mike. "No, it's.... Never mind." replied Dylan.

"Okay then, so how are you holding up?" asked Mike. "Fine really, nothing interesting for now but I guess everything is gonna be okay." replied Dylan.

"Right, by the way, where were you last week? Haven’t seen you since the… In fact didn't see you anywhere these days man." said Mike. "Nah man, it's not like that, after the whole thing, I just wanted me time, you know?" said Dylan.

"Oh right, sorry about that." replied Mike.

"It’s alright." said Dylan. "Hey, new year, fresh start, right?" said Mike. "Yeah that sounds okay." said Dylan.

Just then the bell rings. "Okay I guess I gotta go, I will meet you in the auditorium, no, wait...

At the library I mean." replied Mike. Mike walks away then he remembers something and comes back.

"I forgot to tell you, a guy came looking for you. Tall, creepy, kinda weird looking though." said Mike. (Dylan gets shocked as he thinks Arthur's men might be onto him) "WHAT? Shit... I mean what do you mean? Did you catch his name?" asked Dylan.

 Mike gets a little concerned by his behavior, "No I... Didn’t, are you okay man?" asked Mike. "Yeah, of course, why does everybody ask that, I'm completely fine, why, why do you ask? Something wrong?" replied Dylan while pretending to be calm. “No, it's just, I will see you at the library then." said Mike. "Okay." said Dylan.

The Academy bell rings as students begin to step out, Dylan steps outside the academy and proceeds heading towards home just as he begins to walk into a crowd he notices as if someone is stalking him, he slowly proceeds onto a crowd and vanishes,

The man who had been actually following emerges and looks where he is, just then Dylan appears out of nowhere and push him into an alley and gets a hold of him.

"Who the hell are you? Are you one of his guys?? Answer me you piece of s**t!!" demands Dylan. The man counters him, knocks him down and then he reveals himself.

"Relax Dylan, I come as a friend. “Said the Man.

 "You haven't answered my question." replies Dylan as he gets up from the floor.

"Apologies, my name is Victor Cyrus, I am a friend of your father. Darkness is coming, the Empire of Ver'mont needs you Dylan, now more than ever." said Victor.

 Dylan stares at him for a while and starts to speak.

"Are you kidding me?" said Dylan to himself. “No, my prince, I am not.” Replied Victor. "Okay dude, I just wanna ask one question, and you should be honest with me, okay? Are you high?" asked Dylan. “You i***t! Didn't you listen to a word I say?" replies Victor. "Sadly, I did, look Victor, cool name by the way, I don't know who put you up to this but right now I don't have time for s**t like this,

Especially at a time when a homicidal freak coming after Me." said Dylan who then proceeds to go home ignoring Victor as Victor looks at him with disappointment.
