Prologue
A spotlight appears on the stage, and a hooded boy, who is little more than 8 years old emerges in the spotlight, in one of the audiences, a middle-aged woman
Whom is actually his mother, is eagerly watching her son perform. On the stage, the boy opens his hood, then begins to speak. "Destiny has a way of revealing itself, for some it may take years,
Some months, some might never, but for some, this requires more than willingness itself for their revelation but, who would be chosen for such purpose? Who would endure such… such… endure." continues the boy who begins to cry while shivering and sweating rapidly.
The audience and the backstage people are staring at him without making a sound.
"All… it… it... Takes…" said the boy before running off from the stage as he cries and runs onto the backstage. His mother who has been watching quickly becomes worried and rushes to see her son.
After entering backstage, she notices her son wiping his tears while sitting in a chair while some people are comforting him. The boy notices his mother.
"Mom!" yells the boy as runs to her and hugs her to which his mother responds by hugging him tightly.
"It's okay, it's okay, and mommy is here...” said Alicia. “I was scared and I.…" said the boy. "Ssshhh, everything's going to be fine, it's going to be okay sweetie." said Alicia who him pulls back from the hug and wipes his tears.
"But I failed, all I had was just one job and I..." cried the boy. “You didn't fail sweetie, no one fails in life, especially not you, my little king, you got a little afraid, that's all." said Alicia.
"But... I didn't do it right, I.…" replied the boy.
"Just because you were unable to do something like you were supposed to do mean you failed, it only means that you have to try harder, then you will do it, better even." said Alicia.
"But what if I get scared again?" asked the boy.
"It's okay to be scared sweetie, being scared means you're about to do something really brave." replied Alicia who then gives him a kiss in his forehead.
"A day will come Dylan, when you have to carry a responsibility far greater than any man has ever carried, a burden so heavy, that you won't be able to carry it alone, if that day comes and I'm not here…." said Alicia who pauses as Dylan covers her mouth with his hand.
"Don't ever say that, I can't even imagine a life without you." replied Dylan.
"Neither can I, but remember this, it's okay to be scared sometimes, we all are, it's even okay to run too, but sometimes standing up to the thing that's making you afraid will be the very thing that will set you free, got it?" asked Alicia.
Dylan nods. “Okay then, let's go home and eat that chocolate cake sitting in the fridge." said Alicia as both of them head outside.
As they reach near their car, both of them notice a couple of Agents in black suits awaiting them near an armored vehicle among them is Bennett.
Bennett is a close friend of Dylan's Mom and co-worker, standing worried, who begins to approach them. Dylan's Mother then greets Bennett with Dylan. "Hey there Dylan, how'd the show go?" asked Bennett with a fake smiling expression.
"It was okay." replied Dylan. "What's going on?" asked Alicia.
"The situation escalated Ali, they need you, now." said Bennett. "But, I..." said Alicia before getting interrupted by Bennett. “We only have limited time, I'll drop him, you should go." said Bennett.
"Mom, what's going on?" asked Dylan. Alicia immediately crouches once more to say goodbye. "I'll be back, I promise, okay? Bennett will drop you out." said Alicia.
"But, something doesn't feel right, I don't want to leave you alone." said Dylan. "You won't." said Alicia as she takes off the pendent she was wearing and wears it to Dylan.
The pendent looks rare and mystical, it looks as if it's not from this world. "As long as this is with you, I will always be with you." said Alicia who gives a final kiss.
"I love you." said Dylan. "I love you too sweetheart, always and forever." said Alicia who then departs in the armored vehicle, leaving Dylan with Bennett.
