Chapter 15
I walk Shane to the lake. It is quiet here but still close enough to the packhouse and far from the border. We have walked in a very awkward silence the whole way here, I know this talk is going to happen at some point, so I suppose we may as well do it now. I also want to know who is coming from my old pack to make sure it is no one that has caused me too many problems in the past.
“so you wanted to talk then, before we do can I ask which warriors are coming here” I say may as well get that out of the way before I forget.
“of course I will tell you” he says and rattles off the names of the warriors he has chosen.
