Harry's POV
I couldn't help myself! I needed some retaliation. Not for my room's sake. But because she ignored me when I was worried. My best friend and Alpha burst into my living space, roaring with laughter, followed by Tobias. He mind-linked me minutes ago, telling me Isaac had turned old. And that he was bringing someone else. It turned out to be more than one. But hey! I'm not complaining.
The black see-through patches Raven is wearing is barely covering her breasts. Through the corner of my eye, I see her mounds pushed up into the air as she supports her upper body on her elbows. And I chuckle deeply at her deadly glare. Oh! If looks could kill, I would have been six feet under by now!
'I think we're overdressed, guys!' John laughed uncomfortably, breaking the silence as he strolled in. He then grabbed the consol from my hands and slumped down on the spot beside me. Raven swiftly, and not so gracefully, swung her legs to the side. She pushed herself to her feet, then stood with her hands on her hips and looked at me with the same flaring eyes. She's pissed!
Tobias is still standing in the doorway, looking in every direction except hers, flustered. Tim's face is confused and uncomfortable - as if he's wondering what she's doing here. I guess he can figure out the naked part. Otherwise, I might have to have 'the talk' with him.
'What are you'll waiting for, move!' A voice speaks up from behind them. Tim and Tobias; are quickly shoved out of the way, and one of our top warriors from the central part of the pack, Kayden More, walks in with Michael Taylor, another warrior. Kayden's eyes fall upon Raven and roam her body from head to toe before he licks his lips bursting into a massive grin.
'Well, well! You pretty as a picture!'
Raven gives me one last deadly gare while sticking her tongue out before her face erupts into a smirk, and she turns to face him.
'I know!' She states confidently, flipping her hair over her shoulder and batting her lashes at him. Her panties are the same fabric as her bra, offering little to no coverage in the middle of my living room.
'She's yours, Beta?' Kayden wonders while gazing at me, unwilling to let Raven's body go with his eyes.
'Oh, I'm not anyone's!' Raven smiles sweetly before her lips turn into a tiny pout, 'I'm all by my little lonesome! Actually, I'd really appreciate a hug!'
'Don't, Raven!' I reprimand as Kayden licks his lips. I stand to my feet, place my hands on her shoulders and pull her back. I need to get some clothes on his girl, or she'll probably jump his bones on my couch right before our eyes. Or worse, he'll jump her!
'Get that naked ass from my face!' John roars, trying to steer my avatar through a new challenge.
'Don't you f*****g kill me!' I warn him.
'I won't if you get your ass out of the way!'
Tobias looks at the screen. He and I play together some nights, he's useless, but it's all good fun! And he likes it. John shoves me away with his foot, and I almost tumble over Raven as I still hold her by her shoulders. She frowns at me and gives me a wicked glare. Michael has taken a seat and is cheering on John as he fights some ogres he has encountered.
Tobias is still standing but has walked inside to see better. Tim, however, keeps still in the doorway with his arms crossed over his chest.
'I wouldn't jump that if I was you, Kayden.' He spat as his eyes flashed dark, 'she's a witch!'
Tim's statement makes Jack and I growl in unison, giving him a deadly glare. What the f**k is his problem? Raven jerks in my hands, it's unnoticeable if you see her, but I can feel it. The hostility radiating from Tim is evident.
Kayden's eyes flash dark as he tilts his head, and his nostrils flare when he inhales deeply, smelling the air. Recognition hits him, and a smile rolls over his lips. The notion of a witch seems to intrigue him instead of discourage him.
'A witch!' He breathes as confirmation. He quickly closes the gap between them and then runs his nose over her neck. A new jerk vibrates through my fingers as a shiver travel down her spine. Whether it's discomfort or pleasure, I can't tell.
'I've heard that witches can perform magic, and I have the perfect wand for you!' He purrs against her skin before pulling back ever so slightly.
Ugh, his pickup line makes me cringe while Michael snorts from laughter. Raven giggles while Tim growls, shifting from one foot to the other.
'Well, well, Wolfie! Be careful what you wish for!' She sings while I pull her back and shove her past him, steering her toward my bedroom. She keeps giggling as he yells;
'That's not nice, Man! She said she isn't yours!' But I close the door behind us, not sparing him a single glance.
'You know he just wants to f**k you, right?' I tell her as I pass her, stepping towards my dresser and searching for socks.
'I know!' She states casually, 'However If he's equipt like you! I'll be a happy woman for the night!'
I can't see her face, but I expect she's smirking, so I roll my eyes as I pull out a t-shirt ignoring her.
'Oye! It's your fault I presented myself in my underwear, you know! She scolds, making me sigh.
'Fine, It's my fault! Please don't f**k everything you see.' I beg her while pulling my t-shirt over my head. We're going out, so there is no need to dress up. I'll probably end up naked and run through the woods as usual.
'I'll win over Seth one day, you'll see! He's weirdly fast, that kid, but I'll beat his ass!' Jack tells me.
When I register a thin sigh from behind, I finally turn to look at her. She's standing where I left her, with her head hanging low, slumping shoulders, and her long Raven hair draped over her pale skin. She's looking down at her fiddling fingers. Her mood swings are causing me a whiplash, leaving Jack and me both confused. What happened to her smile?
'Hay, what's the matter, darling?'
She shakes her head, not uttering a word. Her shoulder begins to shake as Raven sobs silently, and my heart breaks. I pull her in for a hug, holding her tightly as I stroke her back. I caress her softly with my fingertips, up, down, then back up again.
'Tell me what's wrong, and I'll fix it! That's what friends do. Is it Kayden? Do you want me to kick him out or whoop his ass? How about you turn him into a teacup?'
Her sobs mix with giggles while she buries her face against my chest shaking her head.
'I don't want to be a witch...'
Her voice is a small piteous whisper smashing my heart to pieces. It wasn't Kayden's shitty pickup line! Instead, it was Tim, that ungrateful mutt! Now she's questioning her own species and resigning her whole being. I grab her chin between my thumb and index finger, softly forcing her to look at me.
'Then tell me, little witch! How would we have saved Tim's life, huh? Who would have found River and brought down the crystal shield? No wolf I know could have done that. I bet River is happy about you being a witch, as is Lucas and the rest of the Brown family. Don't wish to be something else when you're awesome as you are!' I tell her. Raven's cheeks and nose turn scarlet as I see her blush for the first time. It's a sharp contrast to her pale skin, and she's absolutely adorable! Her eyes shine with a hidden smile as well as from the tears.
'Well, Doggie! I guess I can't change it anyway!' She murmurs before breaking away, heading for her bundle of clothes still on my bed. We really should put them in a guest room!

The guy has changed to a game for multiple players and is racing cars under noisy cheers as I come out. John has ordered Pizza and all kinds of goodies during the short time I was away, so as I walk across my living room, all I have to do is open up the bar! I had almost forgotten about Raven as she stepped out. Tim's sudden crash on the screen alerted me to the change in the room. She's in a black formfitting shiny dress in what I believe is called velvet, but I'm no expert! The fabric hugs her body, and the light creates shadows that emphasize her mounds and hips, making them appear more prominent. There is one set of thin straps over the shoulders, and I mentally smack myself - she isn't wearing a bra. I hoped she kept her panties, though! Raven's hair is pulled back in two braids, one on each side, starting above her eyes and then going back her head and reaching down he back. I've heard Charlotte talk about them having the same name as a country, Dutch, perhaps? I'm not sure. However, her pulled-back hair shows off her face with perfectly enhanced eyes and crimson red lips! Tiny stud earrings sparkle in her ears as she walks up to us, throwing herself onto the couch while she tweets, 'Who's winning?'
'I, If you're the first prise!' Kayden joked as he grabbed her and pulled her up his lap. Raven giggles as if blushing, but her eyes hold a smirk rather than the shy smile of a schoolgirl.
We play and drink, keeping the game interesting. Raven sucks as much as Tobias on this, making us all laugh. Our dinks are for werewolves, so after just sipping on one, Raven got tipsy, and I handed her water. I mixed her a new drink, only using an eighth of what everyone else got. Hoping it will be weak enough.
'Mr. Bossman!' Raven almost slurred, 'Is it true, What Big Bear said? You're going after the Auroras?'
John momentarily hesitated, then he paused the game.
'Yes,' He said, looking her square in the eye.
Raven seemed to sober up a bit. She then nodded thoughtfully before offering him a confident smile.
'I'd like to help you with that!'
John turned to me and raised an eyebrow, asking me a silent question. I shook my head no; I was as surprised as anyone by her suggestion. We've never discussed the Auroras. I've never expected anything of her, really. I just thought she seemed lonely and needed company. She helped us, after all! He curtly nods my way before clearing his troth.
'You'd like to battle your own kind?'
'I do!'
'Why?'
'Because it's the right thing to do!' Raven states while keeping eye contact with him.
We all stay silent, waiting for John to accept or decline her offer. Someone's heart speeds up a bit, but I can't determine who. Perhaps it's Raven? Who wouldn't be nervous when an Alpha stares you down, deciding whether he trusts you? Or not? Yet, she doesn't smell nervous as I expect. Could it be the alcohol?
'Thank you, Raven! I appreciate all the help I can get!' John finally said, making Raven smile and nod in confirmation.

Kayden happily gave Raven a piggyback ride all the way down to the center. She insisted that if he carried her, she wouldn't have to wear a coat and loos it in some wardrobe. As if we have those! The drink I mixed for her was enough. Meanwhile, the rest of us are barely affected, and now she's laughing her head off. I'm glad she wears Dr. Martens instead of heels. I'm in no mood to carry her everywhere! Our metabolism burns calories and alcohol alike. We constantly need to refuel if we want to keep the buzz!
There is a beginning of a queue forming as we approach the 'Midnight Howl' smack in the center by the square. The perk of being ranked, however, is skipping that line. We don't abuse our authority often, but now and then, it happens!
'Alpha, Beta!' Elias Birch greets us as we reach the doors.
'Elias, long time no see!' I shout, reaching out for his hand. He chuckles and grabs it, shaking it firmly.
'Happy Wednesday, Beta!' He joked while giving me a wink.
'Yes indeed! Hey, here's your new trainee, by the way!' I laugh, pulling Tobias through the crowd and shoving him forward. Tobias grinned with his eyes shrouded by the alcohol as he reached to grab Elias's hand.
'Tobias Black, how nice to meet you! I'm Elias Birch. I think you've met my grandmother? She speaks very highly of you!' A flustered redness crawled over Tobias's neck as she grinned even broader!
Elias held the door for us, letting us in. He raised his eyebrows at Raven as she rode Kayden's back through the doorway, waving at him like a child entering a candy store. The stuffy and sweet smell of sweat and liquor mixed with different people's scents and perfume hits me hard as I pass the threshold into a new dimension of darkness. The heat of dancing bodies merging with the music blasting all around us is captivating. Raven's ass bounced on full display before me, resting in Kayden's palms, stretched over his back. Her dress shines in different colors from the various lights. Her head whipped from side to side as she took in her surroundings, and for a split second, I wondered where she hid her wand. I can't see it! She turns to me, grinning from ear to ear, and her eyes twinkle in the flashing lights as she rids him inside comfortably. Kayden might physically have her in the palms of his hands, but I know it's the other way around. She owns him, and he might not even get the happy ending he expects by the end of this night!
