“They…t-they were right here…” I stammered, staring at the barren space the carriages had been only thirty minutes ago and the rose which had been used to tie the horses to the trees. “They were here before I-”
“Before you left and caused a commotion in a scene where nobody even wants you at?” Someone from the group cut in rudely, screaming at me. “What the f**k was your dumbass even doing there in the first place? Oh, let me guess, you thought you could help out, right?” The angry man, whom I had been avoiding due to his grumpy nature ever since I was rescued by Gaius, charged towards me, gesturing wildly. “Well, guess what? Because of your smart ass, Alpha Gaius and Bazo both got struck in the arm and now our bloody horses and carriages are gone!”
