RAINA’S POV
We headed down the cliff in one straight line, Gaius was supposed to be leading us forward but he suddenly stopped and asked Bazo to take over. I was wondering what was going on and stared at him quizzically as he waited for the others in front of me to pass by until I finally arrived at where he stood.
He had a frown on his face and those steel-gray eyes of his were demanding, “What are you trying to prove, Raina?” He queried in a sharp undertone.
I glanced at the others, disappearing into a bushy pathway Bazo had paved with his sword. I flashed a nervous smile at Gaius before replying.
