Daisy and Jeykey's Meeting

1349 Words
Daisy tried to stay away from the two well-built men who walked closer to her. The girl was still deeply traumatized by what Viola had done and assumed that any stranger she met would treat her the same way as her four classmates had been tortured. Daisy tried hard to turn around and hoped to walk away from the two men, but when she managed to turn her body around, a call from the two men was heard and succeeded in making Daisy undo her intention to leave immediately. "Miss Daisy," one of the men said. Daisy looked back at the two men. "There's no need to be afraid, we're both bodyguards for Miss Kylie," said the man, realizing Daisy's fear. "Ah, yes," said the girl. Daisy felt bad that she had prejudged the two men. "Miss, Mr. Jeykey is downstairs and has just arrived," the man said, informing Daisy of the whereabouts of Drake's fourth son so that Daisy wouldn't go around looking for Jeykey. "Alright, I'll go see him now. Thank you so much for letting me know," Daisy replied as she lowered her body halfway. "Yes, Miss, you're welcome. We've also been assigned to accompany you to see Mr. Jeykey," the man said again. Daisy shook her head quickly. "No, I can do it myself," Daisy refused. "No problem Miss, we will still accompany you according to the orders given by Miss Kylie," said Kylie's bodyguard. The man did not want to argue with the orders given by Drake's youngest daughter. "It's okay. Take it easy, no one will bother me anymore. Isn't Viola also not studying at this campus?" Daisy refused again. The girl felt bad if she had to keep accepting Kylie's kindness to her, while she was thinking of ways to stay away from the beautiful girl. "Miss, I beg you. Don't refuse! I don't want Miss Kylie to get angry. Are you ready to accept it?" said the bodyguard who was forced to force and threaten Daisy a little, so that the girl would obey because they did not want to get punished by Kylie for daring to disobey the girl's orders, to let Daisy go alone. After hearing the last words uttered by Kylie's bodyguard, Daisy could no longer refuse. She was forced to agree and let the two men follow her, but Daisy had to stay alert, she was afraid that this was just a trap. The trauma left behind by Viola's actions completely changed Daisy's mindset on the kindness of strangers. Both Kylie and Chloe were already waiting downstairs, the place where the youngest Drake princess's bodyguard had told her of Jeykey's whereabouts, the two beautiful girls who were almost equally tomboyish kept a close eye on Daisy to make sure that the girl was coming to see her. Daisy could see where Jeykey was from a distance. If she knew the whereabouts of the handsome man, then it wouldn't be difficult to find him because if there was a crowd of several well-built and tough-looking men, then it was certain that one of Drake Adams' children was there. Jeykey continued to walk towards the class and didn't realize that someone had been watching her for a while. Fortunately, one of the man's men sensed that someone was following them, so he quickly turned around and told Jeykey. "Sir, there's Miss Daisy behind you," said the man who managed to stop the fourth son of Drake in his tracks. The handsome man turned around and sure enough, his youngest brother's new friend was standing not far from him, her hands full of snacks. "Good morning, sir," Daisy greeted, bowing halfway down her body. "Good morning. What's wrong Daisy? Why haven't you come to your class yet? It's about to start. Aren't you afraid of being punished by the lecturer?" Jeykey replied to the greeting given by the beautiful girl standing in front of him while asking the purpose of the girl meeting him. "I'm sorry, sir. Please don't punish me. I'm just here to give you this as a thank you for helping me yesterday," Daisy said as she handed several packets of snacks to Jeykey. The man standing right in front of her also glanced at the food in her hand. Daisy wondered if Jeykey was thinking the same thing as Kylie and finally made Daisy say, "Take it easy, sir. This is not my lunch and I didn't buy it with my own pocket money, I got it from my classmates. They gave it especially for me, as a thank you and I want to share it with you, Miss Kylie and Chloe have also gotten their share," "They all gave it to you?" asked Jeykey who seemed to not believe what the girl said. Daisy nodded with a smile. "And, they also apologized to you? Was it sincere or was it just because they were afraid of Kylie?" asked Jeykey again who was still suspicious of all Daisy's classmates because it was too fast for the handsome guy, whereas all this time none of them helped Daisy when she got attacked by Viola. Daisy, who was still smiling at Jeykey, nodded strongly. "Yes, sir. I'm very sure that they sincerely apologize. They weren't wrong all along, they were just afraid of Viola's threats, but that's all in the past. Now that I'm fine and my day has started to pick up, I no longer get mistreated by anyone, even Miss Kylie asked the two of them to accompany me, to see you to make sure that I'm fine. I'm very grateful to Miss Kylie and to you, sir," Daisy replied, explaining that she was very confident that all her friends weren't making an act out of confessing their wrongdoings. Jeykey nodded his head, although he still didn't fully believe what he had heard, at least he could breathe a sigh of relief that he had managed to help Kylie eradicate the crimes that had been happening on his father's campus. "The food is for you. Take it home and enjoy it with your family! Let me ask Kylie later to share her food with me," the man said again, subtly rejecting Daisy's gift. There was a look of sadness on the girl's face, she knew this was going to happen. A wealthy and influential person like Jeykey would not carelessly accept gifts from anyone, even if it was sincerely given by others. "I have left some for my brother and also for Father and Mother. This is especially for you, sir. I don't know how else to thank you," Daisy said as if she was still forcing Jeykey to accept it. It would be rude and ignorant not to reciprocate the kindness of the Adams family's son and daughter. Seeing the sad and hopeful face of the girl who was still faithfully standing in front of him made Jeykey accept it with a smile. The man knew that the rejection he had made earlier had hurt the girl's heart, Jeykey also did not want Daisy to think that simple people like them did not deserve to be appreciated. Jeykey stepped closer to Daisy and took all the packages given by the girl. The man could see the happy look displayed by the new friend of Kylie, it also made Jeykey feel guilty at first for rejecting the gift from the girl. "Alright, I'll take it if you've set aside some for your siblings and parents. Thank you very much. Just remember one thing, don't ever thank us because what we've done is justified to protect all the students who get mistreated here! I'm the one who should apologize to you for not knowing this was happening, even though I heard that Viola has been treating you since you were in high school," said Jeykey again, feeling guilty because Daisy and Viola's school used to belong to his family. The handsome man had received news that Daisy was one of the smartest students and continued to get scholarships so that she could enter her family's famous school.
