Daisy's Fear

1004 Words
Drake then told Daisy what had happened to him while on campus. Not only that, the most respected man in Europe also told Daisy's parents if the child often received bad treatment from her classmates, from Daisy stepping into high school. Daisy's parents were so shocked, they were silent for a few minutes because they never thought that their eldest daughter had experienced anything bad, but they didn't know because Daisy was so good at covering everything up from them. "Fortunately, Kylie found out about the incident on the very first day that my darling daughter started college. That way, I could also find out all the rottenness that the old rector was doing," Drake said after explaining what happened to Daisy. "Sorry sir, you mean. It was Miss Kylie who saved Daisy because our daughter didn't tell us about it at all. Daisy did say that she is currently friends with Miss Kylie and Miss Chloe, but didn't tell us the reason behind it," Daisy's father asked. The man was completely shocked to hear what Drake had told him. Drake knew that the reason Daisy didn't tell her parents was because the young girl didn't want to make her parents sad, let alone disturb the couple's concentration at work. The only woman in the room immediately turned to her husband and asked, "Why didn't she tell us everything, Dad?" Daisy's father shook his head. He didn't know why his favorite daughter never told them. "Mr. Drake, if I may ask, what did her friend do to Daisy? Because we really don't know. Whenever asked, she always says that she had a good day at college," The woman tried to ask Drake. She didn't care if the man sitting across from them objected to her question. Her instincts as a mother could not mask the sadness of hearing that her son was not okay. "You better ask Daisy directly. Call her here because I have something important to tell her too! And you should also know that Daisy has no friends at all, only my daughter and Chloe. Since the bullying incident, all of her classmates have wanted to be friends with your daughter," Drake said in a low, but emphatic voice. The man really respected Daisy's family not to speak harshly. The truth was that the cruel title Drake had been given was only for people who betrayed him, while for people who had done nothing wrong or wronged him, Drake would respect them as much as they did him. Hearing Drake's words made the couple shocked again. Something must have happened to make Drake want to meet Daisy. "Sir, did our daughter do something wrong to you and Miss Kylie for you to want to see her, sir?" asked the man who already had the word father in him. Drake didn't answer. The man immediately said, "Just get your daughter here!" Hearing Drake's order, although not in a loud and yelling tone, made the couple even more frightened. The woman who was Daisy's mother quickly got up from her chair to call her eldest daughter. "If you'll excuse me, sir, I need to call our daughter," the woman said, bowing her head. Drake replied to Daisy's mother's words with a faint nod. The woman stepped into her eldest daughter's room to immediately bring Daisy to the man who owned the college where her daughter studied. Daisy, who was still in the room, continued to cry out her sadness when separated from Kylie and Chloe, so that the girl did not realize that their house had guests, even guests who were very feared by everyone. In the midst of her crying, Daisy heard a knock on the door from outside the room and soon heard a call from her mother, making Daisy immediately wipe her face with her hands. She didn't want her mother to see the sadness she was feeling. The girl did not want to hear questions from her parents about her crying. "Yes ma'am, just a moment," she said and stood up to open the door for her mother. Daisy repeatedly sighed and cleaned her face so that it wouldn't look like she had just finished crying. The simple girl's hand reached for the door handle and gently pulled it open. She gave a sweet smile to the woman who had given birth to her, but Daisy immediately furrowed her brows when she saw the look on her mother's face. "What's wrong mom, why do you look so scared?" asked Daisy, starting to panic. She was afraid that her mother would hear her crying, even though she didn't make a sound at all and the girl could be sure that her cries would not be heard outside the room. "Did you make a mistake to Lord Drake's daughter, Miss Kylie? Tell me honestly," the middle-aged woman asked without answering her eldest daughter's question. "What do you mean? I don't understand," Daisy asked with a confused look on her face. The middle-aged woman explained that they had an honored guest who was highly respected by everyone. "And Mr. Drake wants to see you, Dai. Aren't you lying to me right now?" she asked. Daisy, who was surprised, widened her eyes, the girl never expected her friend's father to come to her residence. Daisy also thought that Drake's arrival must have something to do with the rift between her and Kylie. Mr. Drake must have known that I asked Kylie to stay away. I must be ready to accept whatever punishment Mr. Drake will give me because all of this is my fault, the girl said to herself and daydreamed a little. Honestly, Daisy was a little scared to imagine what Drake would do to her and for sure her family would also be involved in the ongoing problems. "Dai," said her mother as she touched Daisy's hand. The woman looked confused at her pensive eldest daughter, and she could tell that Kylie had really thrown a tantrum against the Adams family.
