Am I really dead?...

As she was walking she kept thinking about this man Tan or Lucy , who ever he was. He tried to shake the feeling off but it was hard not to think about him. Not when she just remembered she used to date him. Not when he told her to find him. Maybe she was fiddling with something beyond her , but the need to know was bugging her. She wanted answers.
"Lucy who's Lucy?" Questions kept forming in her mind.
" Lucy…Lucy…"
"Lucifer…" She certainly yelled the name. Why did she even do that she doesn't know.
"Yes Lucifer." A middle aged man approached her.
" What?" She looks at him in confusion.
" We have to pray. Lucifer is here. The demons have taken over. We need to pray for the Lord to save us." The man kept looking around as he is seeing the demons.
Lisa was confused herself. She walked away as soon as she could.
"Don't Lucifer fool you!" He yelled referring to Lisa.
" The demons are here."
Lisa kept walking forward avoiding him. She thought that something might be really wrong about that man. I mean why would Lucifer be here?
She rolled her eyes.
But then she still wonders why she yelled Lucifer?
Maybe she's just going crazy like that old man. Seeing things that are not even there.
Then her mind relaxed seeing an ice cream truck in front of her. Surely it would help to clear her mind.

"Dead? What do you mean " I'm dead?". Her mind told this must be a dream and she'll wake up soon.
"Ehh… I mean you're dead." Ariel was still standing in front of her.
"But how? Why?" Lisa still couldn't believe.
" Well I can't answer that."
"So what is this place? Heaven?" Lisa ran her eyes all around her.
" Not necessarily. Only the ones who are not chosen can go to either hell or heaven."
Lisa just stares at him , looking for him to explain further.
He sighed signaling her to get inside the room. Lisa couldn't help but admire it. It was so big and beautiful. It had everything , the kitchen , the dining room and surely upstairs it was the bed rooms. Everything in order and organized perfectly. Ariel guided her to sit on the couch.
"You better start explaining yourself." She repositioned her self on the sofa. Very comfortable and relaxing.
"This might sound a little crazy. But you're dead. You're at the Nirvana Academy."
" The Nirvana what now.."
" Academy. You all know that upon death you can either go to heaven or hell. But you were specially chosen to join our academy."
" What do you mean ' specially' ?" Lisa was even more confused.
" You know there are Angels and Demons right. You might have guessed not everyone just become an Angel or Demon. This is our academy where you learn more about Demons and Angels. But you've been given the privilege to choose which ever side you want."
" Confusing. So what if I don't want to be an Angel or Demon?"
" Then Sherpa wouldn't have let you join the academy."
" Who's Sherpa?"
" God. The creator of Heaven , earth and of course this Academy."
" But why would God create an academy for Angels and Demons."
" Well after Many years of fighting and suffering. The Supreme decided the should be balance between Good and Evil. Once that balance is broken it can lead to war. Many could die. So after approximately every thousand years a human or two are brought into the academy."
" A human or two? There must be very few humans in this academy." Well Lisa is used to academy even having more than a thousand people.
"You could say that. But this is the first time we actually got three new humans. It's surprising."
" I guess God knows." She smirked.
"Yeah I guess so."
"So if only one to two humans , or three in my case. Why is the academy so big?""
"Well Angels get married and make babies and Demons get married too and make babies. Though unlike you they don't get to choose because they are already born that way."
"But they are still in the academy?" Lisa questioned curious.
" Well just because they are born that way doesn't mean they are worthy of the title. They must also pass a series of tests to actually became a real demon or Angel."
" Makes sense."
" But yet unlike you they are even more advanced and have a better chance of success than you because they are born into what they are."
" But I thought we were chosen because we are special?"
Ariel beams a little.
" You're. But it's up to you whether you accept the gift or not."
" Wow. So what if I don't accept the Gift?"
" Then you can take your journey to either go to Hell or Heaven. You'll learn more when attending your classes."
" This is just too much." At some point Lisa wished she was just dreaming. But does it feel so real?
"I'll give you sometime." Ariel left leaving Lisa alone.
Every moment she felt she was going crazy. She felt maybe she'll wake up to reality.
They say she's dead but how? All Lisa remember is that she followed two suspicious man and she ended up here.
"No I'm not dead." She said. But how is going to convince everyone that she's not dead. It's not like they are going to believe her.
Maybe she just have to play dead. How funny is that?
To fake your own death. She was scared but eager to learn more about this mysterious land. To learn more about Demons and Angels.
Maybe she really was special
