Chapter 6 - Present
Alana didn't want to overthink about everything that was going on while trying to believe these things couldn't be real, even if they were all before her now.
And the fact that Zemira took her to this place only facilitated that, creating a false sense of calmness within her due to the powers the Oracle possessed.
After all, the woman didn't need to be the smartest person in the world to see all the fear, confusion, and sense of being completely lost on Dilara's face...
... The girl had spent years disconnected from the world around her, so her reaction wouldn't be strange to anyone when they recognized her after the spell that should attract Ka'lih's other half vanished...
However, it was clear that they never imagined that it would cause her to simply appear before them like a shooting star in between the pillar that mixed the powers of the Queen of Eos, the Oracle of the Twin Moons, and the Queen of Saram, along with the blood of the young Lion.
... Who was still struggling to find his Mate, unlike his younger sister...
The other heiress of the kingdom that had a large part of their lands in the desert had met her other half amid the period that they waited for the right time to do the spell to come again.
After all, the first time had been a failure due to the lack of knowledge about this little information.
... And, it was a story for another time...
Now, all that mattered was that Zemira could understand what had happened to the daughter of one of the most powerful Hesperides she knew and the Oracle of the Northern Star.
... Their children were the most delicate roses that existed in their eyes, and everyone in Wholwni knew that.
Especially when it was about Dilara since no one could understand how the young Hybrid could still be alive after all those she had lived like a lifeless doll after her accident as a child...
Consequently, the older Oracle quickly noticed something wrong when she heard her speaking in a language that no one in their world knew. And ignoring the whispers around her that said it was no use that the young lady seems to be normal now if she had become crazy when she finally opened her mouth again to say something after all those years, she tried to comprehend what was going on.
... And like the most important figures in Wholwni, Zemira had seen madness before, and the young woman's actions were anything but that... They were accurate, and the way she reacted obviously demonstrated that she was trying to avoid them.
Thus, as a way of confirming her own theory, she asked the much-feared question that she would not dare to ask in front of anyone else, especially Inina, who longed to see the day that the life would return to her daughter's eyes...
"... I'll explain everything to you, but first... What is your name?"
... Maybe it didn't make any sense, but more and more, she believed in what was she was thinking in her mind, even if at first, it all sounded crazy to her too...
"A-Alana." And with trembling lips, the young woman answered her, demonstrating that her fearful senses were much more profound than she or the Oracle imagined as not even that place created for her could completely calm her down.
"Well, then, tell me a little more about you, Alana?" Imagining that perhaps it would help her relax again, Zemira asked another question, not wanting to invade the other female's mind to read her thoughts and memories while it all was still disturbed.
"..." However, instead of an immediate answer this time, the eyes of the figure in front of her became confused, wandering from side to side as if she was thinking of the best way to answer such a question from the Oracle. "... I am from Brazil... Or rather, I am Brazilian, from a city on São Paulo's coast ... There is not much to say about my life, other than I'm a nurse, and that I was saving some money to buy a car while helping my mom with the daily bills that all families have."
For a second, Zemira couldn't understand why, but it seemed more like Alana was saying it all to herself than to her, almost as if she was confirming who she was out loud while mentioning things the Wholwni native had never heard about.
"I see... I'm sure your family should be very grateful for all your help with... These things you mentioned, but I want to know more about you, and not about them, so tell me your age, and what kind of powers do you have? Maybe in that way, we can understand how your soul ended up in Dilara's body. " Mentioning some things that were yet not to be said with her last words, the woman who everyone knew as the only one blessed by the Twin Moons until that day, wondered how she always got herself into those situations...
... Two years ago, a simple visit to an old friend ended up becoming much more than that when the Eos that she was supposed to help ended up being none other than the former queen of Aura-ladus, who had fled her kingdom like a criminal.
And whether she liked it or not, Zemira found herself amind a situation that no Oracle would refuse if it appeared before them at that moment as she stayed with Anwyn until the last day when her right title returned to her...
"MY SOUL!?" It was hard to ignore Alana's loud voice when she was surprised by the other female's words before a smile appeared on her face when she better processed all the information said to her. "Do you mean that there is a way that I can go back home !? THAT I CAN GO BACK TO MY FAMILY!?"
And without thinking twice, the young woman ran towards her, then taking the hands of the Oracle, who seemed to be a few years younger than she was, as she asked one question after another, feeling that she had finally found a light at the end of the tunnel, and which she could trust.
