Chapter 6: An Uneducated GuessHoward wasn’t sure exactly what was going on with Jason, but for now, he wasn’t complaining. The fact that Jason wanted to borrow Edgar was a little surprising, but if Howard remembered correctly, Jason had not always been great about things like buying cars. As a matter of fact, it was one of those things Jason frequently procrastinated doing.
As for the coffee and bagels, that was a nice morning treat. Now the divorceary celebration, well that was a surprise—a big one. First of all, Howard had never heard of such a thing, although he imagined that there were people who enjoyed such celebrations; he just hadn’t planned on being one of them.
